Hamwic Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Bazunu's stance is fine up to a point. He talks about innocent people being killed and most people would applaud his action. He declined to mention, however, the innocent people who were killed when Hamas launched their October 7th attack. Stand up for your principles,by all means, but don't ignore both sides of the argument.
dsrdorset Posted September 28 Posted September 28 I follow football to get away from the nonsense of politics & religion. I suggest Gavin concentrates on improving as a goalkeeper....... 2

Football Special Posted September 29 Posted September 29 As Ireland play Israel again end of this week I assume this will rumble on, whats the latest? Has Gav updated his Facebook profile picture to a Palestinian flag?

Perhaps a second armband could be worn by the rest of the players. I'll be interested to see if Azaz starts.

This is true, although the Irish are generally very sympathetic to the Palestinian side because they know what it's like to be occupied by another power 2

East Kent Saint Posted Wednesday at 07:52 Posted Wednesday at 07:52 Baz rated 3rd best player for Bolton last night in their 3-1 win over Wolves , AA meanwhile rated worst for Wolves with just over 3/10 !

Always found with Baz that he'd make a number of saves like the one at 1:27, where he doesn't have time to think. It was always the looping style shots or mis positioning that seemed to go against him

Crab Lungs Posted Wednesday at 16:38 Posted Wednesday at 16:38 He was insanely good v Cardiff. Fair play.
Weston Super Saint Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Not sure I remember any others, was that Big Gav's first ever clean sheet in a league match at St Mary's?

He came off his line and played the sweeper type role very well I'd agree. But we barely tested him with actual shots, which was always his weakness. His hands could have been crisp packets and it wouldn't have had any impact. 1

I’m surprised more wasn’t made of that, because it was a brilliant piece of glovesmanship.
Oldandtired Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I do wish we could cut and paste his distribution acumen onto Peretz...perhaps the one area he is a tad lacking in.
