Hopefully his finishing is more like it was in the Ipswich away game in 2 weeks time then. Local lad going back to start off playing the derby, has a worrying inevitability about him scoring, doesn’t it?

Really good job slimming the squad down.

It was up around 40 and unlike Chelsea we aren’t racking, stacking and loaning out for values to increase. Unsustainable for medium-sized clubs like Saints.

Yep Capt Jack pulls him down, gets sent off, he scores from the free kick.

Will Still had a chat with Archer and told him what he does and does not expect from him in quite frank terms. I think he is sometimes guilty of remaining in Russball mode and Still told him to cut all that out and just concentrate on making intelligent runs, taking up good positions and scoring goals. He more or less told him he's a good player but needs to be selfish, do the job he's in the team for and forget the other aspects. Since then he's looked sharper, more dangerous and bagged two goals.

He didn’t even score, just gave it the big one all game, also legged it on the pitch when Sarmiento scored.

I agree, they’d be more concerned about Fellows, Azaz and Scienza.

It depends how far along these things already are. One minute Tom Fellowes is training with WBA, next minute we announce him.....

What is Edozie doing with himself? Seems like he has had two offers for the past couple of months. Could do with him leaving, he needs to read the room and realise another EFL team aren't going to swoop in for him.

Guehi to Liverpool for £35m seems very cheap (if it goes ahead) and makes our deals for Dibling and Fernandes look like very good business.
