On the subject of Judas, is it right that he's announced his retirement at the end of this season? What a colossal waste of money he was. Just another Russell Martin bearded British banter bumboy in his band of bellends.

I think the whole squad has benefited from his coaching and the example he has set. One of the finest exponents of own half walking football we have. Possibly on a par even with Smallbone.

I like that Rusk saw what Sulemana was doing in the first half so now he's got him sitting even deeper. If you wanna run past players you're gonna have to do it from our own corner flag lad...

That'll teach him.

He's playing like a man possessed today. Where has this been all season?

Was that Elton John in the crowd shot just then?

I think Elton John getting shot at St Marys would have warranted a bit more attention if it happened.

If there's one thing I hope Still brings to the club is allowing players the freedom to do what they're good at rather than stifling them like we've done all season...

Just heard this comment from the  commentator.." Great defending". Don't hear that too often do we 😀

Hear it all the time, just not usually talking about us.

Far too offensive for a Saints team...

Shame really, i'd have liked to see Newcastle and Villa get the other Champions League spots instead of Chelsea.

Uh oh. Tater just said we've been "brave" in the second half.

To be fair he applied the common usage of brave so I understand the confusion. Instead of the previous Saints definition that was "blindly doing dumb stuff that doesn't work over and over again".

That's the injection of pace in midfield we needed.

With Smallbone that's like trying to inject pace with a syringe.

Any chance of us re-loaning Big Les next season? Him, Downes and Charles would be a top notch midfield in the championship.

Not sure there's enough forward momentum/creativity in those three. Maybe as options for the two DM spots but need a more creative third. I wouldn't be too upset at losing Downes if we got Les again.

A central defence without THB, Bednarek and Stephens. They said it could never work.

May it long continue

He's only ever had shit players around him playing shit possession based football. Put him in Koemans team and he'd be incredible.

How is he supposed to have end product on a day like today when he's told to start from such a deep position he has to beat the entire Arsenal team the length of the pitch and then find a finish himself as there is zero support?

That's is somewhat true I agree however he hasn't shown anything much in front of goal in three years... It's frustrating as he has played well today and is capable of so much more! Hopefully he clicks with still and we finally see the best of him.... If he stays

So long Big Les. You were always better than Martin gave you credit for. Glad we got to see more of you in the second half of the season.

Is it just coincidence that we've actually looked a bit better in defence today with all of THB, Stephens and Bednarek missing?

Short answer no!

See ya Ugochukwu. You've been our best loan player this season for sure.

Not like that means much though.

His decision-making is non-existent. As in, he doesn't know what to do with it.
