He's a great finisher.

Well, he's certainly better than My Pa.

Besiktas apparently pulled out of the transfer. Presumably a PL club has shown some interest.

Off to West Ham apparently…might be a few ex saints there come September 1st!

Feels like a good move for him. Should get regular minutes, and minimal risk of relegation. Good luck to him.

Feels to me like a nothing move and a missed opportunity for him, aside from being back in London.

West Ham will achieve nothing of note in the next 3 years, I am sure.

He could have taken a new life experience, playing in Europe and massive atmospheres and maybe had a chance to win a trophy.

Safe and dull.

Disagree entirely. He needs to play, and in a decent league. He won't get regular minutes at many PL teams, unless he fancies likely relegation, and a move again next summer.

The Turkish move would represent a step back in football terms, and I don't share your view that being the English bloke in a Turkish team is a positive life choice.

He'll be a multi millionaire when he retires with plenty of time and money for 'new life experiences'.

Totally agree. Perhaps it was his only PL option if he wanted to return to London. No way would he have had an offer from Chelsea or Arsenal and there would have been mutual antipathy towards any thought of a move to Spurs.

Is WHU a better option than Palace or Fulham? IGiven the choice Fulham would have been the best bet, the most stable of the three and likley to stay in the PL for a few more years longer.

Did JWP call KWP?

Apparently so.

"You played alongside and were captained by James Ward-Prowse at Southampton, so what has he told you about the Club?

“Everything! Since he’s been there, like I said, I’ve been linked a few times and he’s been trying to make it happen and the last few days he’s been speaking to me and telling me that I’ll really enjoy it. So again, I’m really looking forward to it. I’m excited and I think I’ll settle in really quickly.”"

And Walker-Peters revealed this was an arrival in east London that was long in the making, not least because his former Southampton captain, teammate and friend James Ward-Prowse has been pushing him to join him here for the past two years!

Two years? So he's been trying to pry our best player away since the day he left? I've lost a little respect for James there 🙁
