Come on Leicester, how poetic would it be that probably our result of the season in the 4-3 and the result that helped massively with the current unbeaten run be against the team that could win tonight and do us a massive favour.

But then it is Leicester so...

Vestergaard last minute bullet header mate, written in the stars.

It'd be even better if it was in the correct net. 😝

Personally hoping Jordan James comes off the bench to score. He's been Leicester's best player this season and one i wouldn't mind seeing here this summer.

Isn’t he a Leeds player loaned back?

So frustrating that even dropping two points isn't enough here really, we need them to drop all 3.

Beating Oxford isn't a gimme. They've got Wednesday at home tomorrow so could still go into their game against Millwall on the final day with a chance of staying up.

But isn't that reliant on West Brom losing to Ipswich, which fucks us up either way?

They could catch Charlton too as it stands.

No because they could get above Charlton as well.

On the basis of this showing, keeping Millwall in the playoffs can only benefit us IMO. If we snatch second, great, but I know who I’d rather be playing if not and it isn’t Ipswich.

Especially if Coburn is injured.

West Brom beat Ipswich tomorrow and it is in our hands to finish 2nd if we beat Ipswich. If only.

Let's not get ahead of ourselves for tonight yet...

It's fine. It's not like Leicester have any recent history of chucking away points in injury time.

Oh, hang on ..

Hopefully they are fired up by the injustice etc* of the points deduction.

*no idea if it is an injustice or not. Couldn't give a fuck. But hopefully the WBA players do.

Let's hope Leicester hold out first. Millwall piling on the pressure.

They did not. Was fun while it lasted.

I blame you.

Just as I tell the ladies, enjoy the good times while you can before the disappointment kicks in.

If only Leicester could defend

To be fair, that same defending was worth at least three points to us.

Their centre backs are Souttar,  who is decent but has an injury record that makes Ross's look good and Vestergaard whose top speed is equivalent to a sloth. Shame, but there you are.

I was expecting a comfortable Millwall win so could've been worse.

2nd place obviously incredibly unlikely as we'd need West Brom to beat Ipswich, us to beat Ipswich then we'd have to better both Milwall's and Ipswich's results on the last day.

It's not completely gone yet. It will be if Ipswich win tomorrow though.

2nd is Ipswich's to lose now. Bar a miracle we're probably out the running now. Personally hope Ipswich finish 2nd and I fancy our chances in the play-offs.
