Sheaf Saint Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Manning utterly failing to prevent an attack down our left once again, and then just shrugs when Stephens calls him out for it. 3
Holmes_and_Watson Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Whew! Straight at Baz. From Stephens being way upfield to them keeping it in, I thought that was going in.

SNSUN Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Manning's defensive positioning really sucks. So many positions that still need to be improved upon to make us in any way challengers in this league. 3

James Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Downes and Bragg together is like watching paint dry. Just short backwards and sideways passes. 1
AlexLaw76 Posted January 1 Posted January 1 as expected. Thy are not allowing space in the middle of the park I guess we will keep trying the same thing then 4
obelisk Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Scienza coming far too deep for the ball and is giving it away. 1

Love how Manning ran straight for the sideline, where there were no players, not back towards a Millwall player, or in towards the middle to help out... no he ran right for the sideline... Ran himself straight out of play. Edited January 1 by bugenhagen 1 3
Holmes_and_Watson Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Another nice ball across our goal. We don't seem to have any desire to create attacks by impossing them. It's much more passive, waiting to see what if any space appears. 1
tdmickey3 Posted January 1 Posted January 1 One player trying to be attacking and he has to get the ball in his own half. Poor, Poor show again. Midfield is a man light. Archer is his normal standard Manning pathetic as ever
AlexLaw76 Posted January 1 Posted January 1 This is as bad as Will Still 5 in defence, wide open in the middle, huge gaps most of the time between the front 2/3 and the rest of the team 3
Saint NL Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Just now, Turkish said: Archer 😂 That was straight out of the Damion Downs playbook

Goes to show how bad things have been recently I’ve turned over briefly inbetween the WDC QF matches and it is not inspiring to say the least. There are over-50s leagues on a Sunday which would play at a better tempo.
James Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Just now, Turkish said: Archer 😂 How many more managers will it take to work out he can’t play up front on his own..?

CB Fry Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Archer exceptional at his little flicks on to fucking no one 1
Willo of Whiteley Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Just the one attempt so far. When we said we were looking ahead to promotion was this in two years time when we’re in League 1? 😂
James Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Archer looks like he’s being controlled by a crap FIFA player at the moment. Random flicks and passes to nobody.
OttawaSaint Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Better. Close from corner and then a decent curler from Leo.

Holmes_and_Watson Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Nearly from THB. And not far away from Leo. Millwall pretty solid though, as we look for gaps rather than take risks. 1

Totton Saint Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Strikes me there has been an almighty bust up after the post match debriefing on Monday. 1 1
Mr X Posted January 1 Posted January 1 It's like we haven't got a clue what to do with the possession 2
obelisk Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Saints fannying around with it at the back. Blind pass played short so Wood has to collect a yellow. All a bit chaotic. 1
Holmes_and_Watson Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Oof. Millwall nearly take advantage of one of our predictable passes. Yellow for Wood or that would have been worse.

AlexLaw76 Posted January 1 Posted January 1 Just now, Mr X said: It's like we haven't got a clue what to do with the possession we do. It is just the same thing. Notice how teams allow our CBs to have the ball in our defensive 3rd, then man mark midfielders. That is why Leo is dropping further to get the ball as there is no space we of course, just keep doing them same thing, and expect Manning and the CBs to create too much 3
Saint Fan CaM Posted January 1 Posted January 1 It makes you think that the CB’s have all the power in the team to dictate how slow we play. It’s fucking horrible football. 3
