You would think he would be well used to that by now

Most managers who have been in the job for a while generally are and shrug it off after a bad home display and defeat.

Looking at the fixtures this w\e...

Derby away to Watford

Wrexham home to Ipswich

Preston away to Blackburn

Bristol away to Swansea

Birmingham away to Norwich.

4 aways and a tough home.

No doubt about it, this w\e is a great opportunity to leapfrog our rivals, maybe even sneak into playoffs?

You cannot be in the playoffs until you're in the playoffs.

But I know what you mean.

Careful Whitey. You are slipping into MLG mode there.

Sensitive soul. He should spare a thought for referees who suffer this insult at every single match in which they officiate.

Still unbearable to listen to then. They got smashed by Pompey but were the better side in his eyes

Hopefully we can put the final nail in his management coffin.

Wow, they've really turned on him. I thought he might have a bit more credit in the bank after doing very well to get them promoted last season, but it would appear that as well as the poor results they have also grown sick of his antics and demeanour in the way that everyone does sooner or later.

To the point that some on that thread seem keen on the idea of replacing him with Martin - that's the only fanbase I've seen that doesn't just reject the idea of him out of hand. Not sure his ego would allow him to take over there though, as he probably thinks he's still a level above Charlton, and to be fair to him he's probably right. Now the Leicester job's taken (for the next six months at least), I think he'll pitch up at West Brom eventually, if he doesn't go abroad.

Line up is almost a no-brainer.

Peretz, Bree, THB, Stephens,  Welington, Downes, Charles, Fellows, Azaz, Scienza, Ross.

Totally agree. Our precious darlings have had a couple of weeks to rest their weary bones and I'm expecting nothing but a win. Real opportunity in the next three games to accumulate nine points.

Fellows has come in for criticism in recent weeks. I like him but would like to see Edozie replace him if Fellow's not on his 'A' game tomorrow.

Nice presser from Tonda. I will say he looks to have grown into the role really well. Speaks with confidence and intelligence. Very much gives me the Hassenhuttl vibes.

I would love nothing more than for us to put Charlton away with a professional performance that leaves mad Nate up shit creek.

Did he mention being on the front 🦶 at all?

Surprisingly no.

Not watched it, but I’m guessing he said they need to “be better in terms of stuff”

Not quite.

"Well, [there will] definitely be structural things to learn, but also, you know, [a] few other things as well…”

Edozie tends to play on the left. No reason he can't play on the right I suppose or come on to replace Scienza if he is isn't pulling up and trees. He's a good option off the bench - someone that will attempt to take the fullback on almost every chance he gets.

He just needs to start talking about washing machine guarantees to complete the picture... ;)

Shame that Welington is out for a bit. Just need to go strong as possible and manage minutes later on if possible.

Trouble is we'll get Manning back not Jelert. Oh well, backwards and downwards.

Looks a good crowd and should be a decent atmosphere.

Can we ffs though leave that tedious cheer up Nathan Jones song. The only downside to our tremendous win up there was hearing that on repeat. The skates wore out in the week as well in their own tin pot, special way.

Less focus on him and all about us and getting the three points.
