Saint Scott Posted Wednesday at 18:08 Posted Wednesday at 18:08 A real chance to put the pressure on Ipswich and extend our unbeaten run/win streak. My daughter's first live game, so hoping for a straight forward win. 2-0 Saints Ipswich v Boro Sunday lunchtime will be massive for our autos push! 4
suewhistle Posted Wednesday at 18:11 Posted Wednesday at 18:11 You're dedicating this to @sad saints fan I hope.. Hope he splashes out on a fiver soon. 🙂 As for Boro, are we OK with them winning?
sad saints fan Posted Wednesday at 18:17 Posted Wednesday at 18:17 Thank you . I will save some of next months pension to pay my fiver if I can. 🤣
saintant Posted Wednesday at 18:49 Posted Wednesday at 18:49 The first of our final 4 league games. Win this and the other 3 and we will almost certainly finish in 2nd place. This will be a tough one but our confidence is sky high. Tonda knows what is at stake so I think he'll have a plan as usual and the players will bring home the 3 points. Win this and we're 3 wins away from a return to the Premier League.
Saint_clark Posted Wednesday at 19:04 Posted Wednesday at 19:04 What's our longest ever winning streak?
Jack Posted Wednesday at 19:32 Posted Wednesday at 19:32 Apparently their right back situation is a problem area for them. Give Leo a start and surely would make sense to give Welington lots of minutes as he’ll be playing at Wembley. Manning can come back in on Tuesday so everyone is fresh. You’d assume Downes, Jander, Stewart will be back in too. They won at Leicester last time out which was their first in 5. Decent enough draws with Boro and Sheff Utd before that, and comfortable defeats to Coventry and Wrexham before that.
Mboto Gorge Posted Wednesday at 19:48 Posted Wednesday at 19:48 42 minutes ago, Saint_clark said: What's our longest ever winning streak? In the same season it’s 6 games I think. However for consecutive league games we won 10 games across 2 seasons at the end of 2010/11 (6 games) and the start of 2011/12 (4 games) under Adkins.
JohnnyShearer2.0 Posted Wednesday at 21:40 Posted Wednesday at 21:40 They have the division's top scorer in Vipotnik. I haven't seen him play but read that he bangs in all types of goals. Hopefully the defence will keep him out and Saints will cause plenty of their own problems for Swansea.

Jack Posted Thursday at 10:06 Posted Thursday at 10:06 4-0 Saints. They were conceding goals for fun before beating Leicester 1-0, and they’re useless. Coventry and Ipswich both put 3 past them in recent times. Start fast and blow them away, loads of fun for the travelling fans. 1
James G Posted Thursday at 10:26 Posted Thursday at 10:26 Swansea still play like Swansea, so pressing, direct play and wing play are best, especially down the left side. I think we'll win 5-1. Stewart will score at least two, and Scienza one. We're due a free kick goal as well

Oisin Posted Thursday at 12:57 Posted Thursday at 12:57 At this stage of the season the only game that matters is the next one so I think we go as strong as possible. Hopefully Azaz is fit, in which case imho we should go Peretz Bree THB Stephens Manning Downes Jander Matsuki Azaz Leo Stewart Then again, if our cyborg manager works out a different and better way of doing things I’m not going to argue 1

Yeah, he's a very good striker and we'll need to shackle him and restrict his opportunities. If we get promoted he might be worth looking at as a signing for next season.
Willo of Whiteley Posted Thursday at 16:59 Posted Thursday at 16:59 Scrappy 1-0 win. Hoping for a Boro draw, let them both drop points, the pressure is on them, not us.

Actually think we've got a better chance of catching Ipswich than Millwall. Their run in looks the easiest. And those play offs last time were great fun, so I don't mind getting promoted through that route.
SouthWalesSaints Posted Thursday at 19:50 Posted Thursday at 19:50 Important game to win, obviously I know. But probably the one I’m most worried about of all of those remaining. Including Ipswich. Peretz Bree THB Stephens manning Jander Downes Archer Azaz Scienza Larin This is what I would line up with, suspect Matsuki and Stewart will start though.

Hoping for a Boro draw, let them both drop points, the pressure is on them, not us. As a rule we don't do scrappy. Momentum is key; so far we have escaped arrogance. We are a very good team, we may ship the odd goal now and again but have the capacity to score every time we have the ball. THB, Matsuki and Azaz can pick out killer passes through the lines as we have seen many times in recent matches. No other club at this level can match that? Trust in them and the process. 0-3 withour breaking sweat. Edited Thursday at 20:45 by Charlie Wayman

SouthWalesSaints Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago I’m going to post in here as it seems the semi final has distracted the fan base. Praying the players aren’t as distracted.
Saint Garrett Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago (edited) Bit concerned about this one...a really tough game, up against a striker in top form. We need to keep him quiet. Bristol City is also a very tough game. Would expect to see this one prioritised though, as think it's the tougher game and because of the changes vs Blackburn. Do need Welington to have some game time ahead of next Saturday though, as Manning can't play at Wembley. Peretz; Bree THB Stephens Welington; Downes Jander; Matsuki Azaz Scienza; Stewart Probably see Wood, Manning, Charles, Bragg, Fellows, Robinson, Archer, Larin all rotated either off the bench on Sat and probably a fair few will start Tuesday night. With what we know about Tonda and listening to him constantly go on about humility and closing the book after the game just ended I can't see this being an issue for the players. Tonda will be drumming home the message non-stop as always. 1
Saint86 Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago (edited) I just hope we win!!! 😅 Have to pinch myself every game at the moment (15wins, 3 draws... where is the loss coming from 😅😄). This has banana skin written all over it in my mind, but then so did Blackburn and derby... and we just keep winning. What is happening?!?!?!? Not sure i can handle this, especially after supporting saints last season (which i would liken to the footballing equivalent of an abusive relationship) - are we actually allowed nice things this year?🤣 Edited 12 hours ago by Saint86 4
coalman Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago We're all waiting for when the dream comes off the rails. This is Saints after all. And, yet I feel the expectation that we're going to come back with 3 points. The squad is working well, there are goals everywhere and we're hard to score against. The biggest worry is Swansea sucker us into a game of 2-sided Russball. 4-1 to Saints. 1
Baird of the land Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago (edited) The obvious rotations to freshen the team up will be jander, scienza, azaz, Stewart. I do wonder if we might play wood in this one and give Stephens a breather. Edited 9 hours ago by Baird of the land 1

Him and Scienza down the left for that one will be key 2

Saint Fan CaM Posted 58 minutes ago Posted 58 minutes ago For anyone wondering/worrying about why we’re winning I think it can be summed up in one word. Momentum. We’ve got it in abundance right now, however I reckon Tonda’s next big test will be how to restore it in the squad after the City game, as that will likely be a disruptor.
