The first of our final 4 league games. Win this and the other 3 and we will almost certainly finish in 2nd place. This will be a tough one but our confidence is sky high. Tonda knows what is at stake so I think he'll have a plan as usual and the players will bring home the 3 points. Win this and we're 3 wins away from a return to the Premier League.

Apparently their right back situation is a problem area for them. Give Leo a start and surely would make sense to give Welington lots of minutes as he’ll be playing at Wembley. Manning can come back in on Tuesday so everyone is fresh. You’d assume Downes, Jander, Stewart will be back in too. 
 

They won at Leicester last time out which was their first in 5. Decent enough draws with Boro and Sheff Utd before that, and comfortable defeats to Coventry and Wrexham before that.

In the same season it’s 6 games I think. However for consecutive league games we won 10 games across 2 seasons at the end of 2010/11 (6 games) and the start of 2011/12 (4 games) under Adkins.

They have the division's top scorer in Vipotnik. I haven't seen him play but read that he bangs in all types of goals. Hopefully the defence will keep him out and Saints will cause plenty of their own problems for Swansea.

Yeah, he's a very good striker and we'll need to shackle him and restrict his opportunities. If we get promoted he might be worth looking at as a signing for next season.

Actually think we've got a better chance of catching Ipswich than Millwall. Their run in looks the easiest.

And those play offs last time were great fun, so I don't mind getting promoted through that route.

As a rule we don't do scrappy. Momentum is key; so far we have escaped arrogance. 

We are a very good team, we may ship the odd goal now and again but have the capacity to score every time we have the ball. THB, Matsuki and Azaz can pick out killer passes through the lines as we have seen many times in recent matches. No other club at this level can match that? Trust in them and the process.

I’m going to post in here as it seems the semi final has distracted the fan base. Praying the players aren’t as distracted.

Bit concerned about this one...a really tough game, up against a striker in top form. We need to keep him quiet. Bristol City is also a very tough game. 

Would expect to see this one prioritised though, as think it's the tougher game and because of the changes vs Blackburn.  Do need Welington to have some game time ahead of next Saturday though, as Manning can't play at Wembley.

With what we know about Tonda and listening to him constantly go on about humility and closing the book after the game just ended I can't see this being an issue for the players. Tonda will be drumming home the message non-stop as always.

Have to pinch myself every game at the moment (15wins, 3 draws... where is the loss coming from 😅😄). This has banana skin written all over it in my mind, but then so did Blackburn and derby... and we just keep winning. What is happening?!?!?!? Not sure i can handle this, especially after supporting saints last season (which i would liken to the footballing equivalent of an abusive relationship) - are we actually allowed nice things this year?🤣

We're all waiting for when the dream comes off the rails. This is Saints after all. And, yet I feel the expectation that we're going to come back with 3 points. The squad is working well, there are goals everywhere and we're hard to score against. The biggest worry is Swansea sucker us into a game of 2-sided Russball.

I’d say Welington would be a fairly obvious one to get him some minutes ahead of the City game. Him and Scienza down the left for that one will be key

For anyone wondering/worrying about why we’re winning I think it can be summed up in one word. Momentum. We’ve got it in abundance right now, however I reckon Tonda’s next big test will be how to restore it in the squad after the City game, as that will likely be a disruptor.
