Have a day off! If they kicked them out I’m sure Sky would kick up a stink given the millions of pounds invested in these clubs including Man City.

Man City will just get a fine and appeal most charges and win.  Law is all about looking for loop holes and discrepancies in text of law. City have endless money to employ 20 layers to look through paragraphs of law and come up with a load of points of law.

Saints are bargain basement and over spent on budget.

And yet our punishment might still end up being worse for a club our size bearing in mind we were almost definitely heading up to the Prem. Unless City get expelled from the Prem perhaps which could lead to players finding contract loopholes. Financially I expect they can cope with anything thrown at them. Will be interesting to see how this one turns out.

Disagree. The issue is that they are a cash cow for the FA, Premier League and Sky plus they create headlines. It's all about money, advertising and public awareness so the authorities will always go soft on clubs like City and Chelsea and hammer the smaller clubs like us and Leicester.

Mate, they are done as a club. Burnley sued everton over one season and have been awarded nearly £40M. 

Every single club that was in the prem over that period will have a legal case against them. European clubs can sue them....

And that ignores the sporting sanction. You could make an argument for them being drop kicked out of the Football League.

I think they will have a problem if they hammer one club for 3 relatively minor offences which had little effect on the games involved and go easy on another club for 115 serious  offences which clearly gave them a huge advantage financially over a longer period of time.

Can't work out if it's good news for us or not. On the one hand, they can't be seen to be thumping the little guy when there's this bully to sort out. On the other, they could thump the little guy to show they still have some authority.

That's ridiculous. The FA needs to start with a sincere and protracted apology for the inconvenience before they politely suggest City thinking briefly about not doing it again.

There's that but then why pursue them in the first place and bother to charge them 115 times? I think the Premier League wanted to go after them in this case, but the issue with the big rich clubs is the fear of litigation, which often results in them bottling out of implementing serious penalties on them.
