Naming three black former Saints players. 1 of the 3 eligible for Ghana and asking if they were going to be playing for Ghana tonight. Your posts show a decent understanding of football so it’d be unusual to not realise Bella-Kotchap and Mane weren’t eligible to play for them tonight. So is the joke that they’re black so might be playing for an African team or are you making another point/joke?

Saint_clark Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Turkish is just pissed off because his spiritual national side did so shit in a group that contained Paraguay, Australia and USA. I'd be lashing out too.
Saint NL Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Less of this bickering and more pointing and laughing at Joe Harts drawn on hairline 1

What I’ve seen is your understanding is players born in England could have played for England which means players born black could play for Ghana? Edited 3 hours ago by ChrisPY

But it's frustrating Haaland chose Norway who have no chance of winning (often not even qualifying). Don't think Haaland ever made a sporting choice between the two. The question was more "am I English or am I Norwegian?"

LiberalCommunist Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago So they cracked down on time wasting. The keeper can no longer hold on to the ball, the throw ins need to be immediate, and then they stick two fucking advert breaks. What a load of shit. 1
whelk Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago FFS don’t they care about player welfare? Hydration break now

Turkish Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago 3 minute injury break 3 minutes later break for a 3 minute hydration break what a joke 1

adrian lord Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Turgid stuff with Ghana parking the bus and us not moving quickly enough or passing fast enough.

Polaroid Saint Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I used to be very confused about Djed Spence. Slightly annoyed, even, as I felt he was 'stealing a living' playing professional footballer. Didn't begrudge him personally for that, fair play. He is no better an attacking left back as I was at his age and if I had been able to get away with it, I sure would have. But it seemed to make a mockery of what it supposedly took to 'succeed' in football. The fact he is now starting for England in the World Cup has made me reappraise him entirely: Just shows the kids; it's not about pure natural talent, or working hard every day, or even being very lucky. Life is just random as fuck. It really can happen to anyone! And for that life lesson he is currently my favourite England player. Marvelous really. 1 1
Sheaf Saint Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Rooney has to be the very worst pundit there's ever been. He's fucking painful to listen to. 1

SNSUN Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Stupid booking for Rice. Trying to win the game by himself.

obelisk Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Ghana easily dealing with England's ponderous sideways passing. Time to feed the cats.
