Just realised the ref has his name on the back of his shirt. Wonder if we'll be able to buy them in the Megastore for next season. Always wanted a Stuart Atwell replica.

I heard the David Coote shirts have been in the sale for some time…

The truth is we have got three or four, maybe five or six, very ordinary players.

This match is crying out for Cole Palmer.

I rarely watch England, because we're generally shit.

Watching tonight, and we're shit.

But we're being patient. Apparently.

I could have sworn he just said Prince Andrew is about to come on for Ghana 😕

That’s how I heard it as well.

He wouldn’t need to worry about breaking into a sweat at the pace of this game so might well be suited.

Madueke did well there, but helped massively by the run inside by O'Reilly.

One good cross in two games

I thought Ghana were supposed to tire out and collapse?

Yep the terror when they see our subs coming on will be palpable

ref’s shoulders are stupid

Fucking body armour for a ref.

It's not the 70s.

Ohhh. Ghana should score.

Did the England defender even get the ball then?

That Ghana chance? No.

Konsa went flying in with two feet off the ground and didn't get any contact on the ball. I thought he was quite lucky to get away with that.

This is why I don't watch England....even though I am a massive patriot.

The arrogance of the commentators and talking heads. The underperformance of the team.

It's like watching piss dry.

I don't think it ever does.

A fair result.

Ghana got it past Pickford twice. England hit the post and Kane thumped it over.

There was a bit more intensity when Saka came on. But overall, nothing suggesting they had worked on ideas to break an opponent down.

I'm on 67 minutes on my Sky + viewing and the wife just told me the final score. I may as well not bother watching the rest. Glad I'm not in the pub for this one. (But I am for Panama...)
