whelk Posted Tuesday at 16:20 Posted Tuesday at 16:20 Looks like Tuchel is going to get a piss easy run to win the final

Window Cleaner Posted Tuesday at 16:24 Posted Tuesday at 16:24 Missed it...again. Think that's 3 misses out of 5

They've not been great so far in the tournament. So far 5 european sides and 1 North African side in the last 8. Football has re-centered on Europe. We should have 2 world cups out of every 3.

Argentina, the holders, going out in a knockout to Egypt. yeah, that is an upset... 2

Norway and Egypt I think are ranked together, and Norway's win over Brazil was considered one of the upsets of this World Cup.

Gloucester Saint Posted Tuesday at 16:44 Posted Tuesday at 16:44 Egypt’s keeper having a worldie so far. That save just now was an example of strong wrists. Pre-Peretz, we’d be conditioned to thinking those would always go in. Argentina building up the pressure. Good header for the goal.

Saint Pete Posted Tuesday at 17:23 Posted Tuesday at 17:23 Wonderful breakaway goal about to be spoiled by VAR.
Turkish Posted Tuesday at 17:25 Posted Tuesday at 17:25 Now I’m sure in the past goals have not been ruled out despite fouls happening because the incident was too far away from the goal. shame great goal
trousers Posted Tuesday at 17:25 Posted Tuesday at 17:25 Does the guy get his yellow card reversed for taking his top off to celebrate the goal...? 1
HarvSFC Posted Tuesday at 17:27 Posted Tuesday at 17:27 Never seen VAR pull the play that far back before. There has been some dodgy decisions going on for the North and South American sides recently. 2

Certainly would have been interesting to see if the same decision would have been arrived at had it been an Argentina goal and not Egypt. 1

The Wyvern Posted Tuesday at 17:34 Posted Tuesday at 17:34 Absolutely amazing people still cheer for VAR.
AlexLaw76 Posted Tuesday at 17:35 Author Posted Tuesday at 17:35 This is a great advert for the Saudi Pro League. #Levels

Only if the current holder of the FIFA Peace Prize gets involved. Interesting point though. I thought the point of booking players for taking their shirt off when scoring was down to the sponsors wanting their names to be seen on pictures of the goal scorer. There are no sponsors names on shirts in the WC. Edited Tuesday at 17:45 by sadoldgit 1
Window Cleaner Posted Tuesday at 17:41 Posted Tuesday at 17:41 If Argentina want to have any sort of chance Scaloni needs to step up and hook the old bloke. 5 games in 3 weeks or so is obviously too much for him. 1

skintsaint Posted Tuesday at 18:00 Posted Tuesday at 18:00 How was the egypt one chalked off for what it was, but thats not even looked at? 3
BotleySaint Posted Tuesday at 18:00 Posted Tuesday at 18:00 (edited) Surprised there wasn't even a VAR review. What has Trump got against Egypt? Edited Tuesday at 18:01 by BotleySaint 1

Saint Pete Posted Tuesday at 18:01 Posted Tuesday at 18:01 Defending has let Egypt down, had the game in the palm of their hand. 1
