I think we'll have to stick with the other teams in the EFL naughty corner. Swindon Town, Shrewsbury Town, Leicester, Wednesday, West Brom.

Maybe a trip to Turkey to play Goztepe, and while we're there we can play Adana Demirspor who just got relegated to the third tier on -57 points.

Football Martin mentioned that we're doing a training camp in Barcelona - I assume not playing vs them but maybe Espanyol and some lower league Spanish teams or other teams training nearby.

So, reading between the lines... Pochettino is coming back as manager after the world cup...?

Quite a big difference to start of the season (EFL starts with a league cup game 8th Aug) whereas Premier League starts two weeks later on 22nd , would have made it hard to plan too much in advance. 

I miss the days of our Scandinavian pre season tours, had some great trips to Sweden and Norway, would be nice to play there again. 

Assume training will begin first week of July

I saw yesterday that Poch was talking to AC Milan, ruining our plans there.

He hadn't phoned the US players not in the squad, and some people had hurty feelings, or pretended to have.

So, we can't even find out how he would have dealt with agent interns, their scouting missions, and their hurty feelings.

That’s exactly what we did last year wasn’t it? Shame the Espanyol game was behind close doors, little Saints weekend in Barca would have been brilliant.

Yes good idea. And we can invite them for a return fixture to be played at Hedge End.
