I'd be surprised. seems to originate from a West Ham leak on twitter, probably bullshit, and not sure we'd sign someone who is expecting to come in and be first choice. But would love a proper talisman no9, might be harsh on Larin though...!

My friend is a Swansea supporter, and his dog, Dave, told him to tell me that there are huge rumours that Saints are 'winning the race to sign Vipotnik for £20 million plus add ons.' 

Dave previously told me Russel Martin was shit, and Manning was good, so take this for what it's worth.

Interview on BBC sounds. Doesn't say he's heard anything but talks about the rumours and said he'd suit us very well. Not sure he'd be mentioning it if there wasn't anything in it.

He has shown he can score goals in the championship, he will be looking for a move up a level. One year of parachute payments left means we can't offer him a four year deal on mega money. Swansea will want £20m for him too. All those factors mean I'd be very surprised to see him sign for us this summer.

No smoke without fire and there is ALOT of smoke around this one. We’ve even put the mandatory smoke screen of the Bournemouth guy out soon as leaks started if you noticed. I’d say this deal is VERY close as Tonda confirmed the other day

The only smoke is coming from our dribbling fantasist mick philpott types on twitter as they get arrested for arson.

 I reckon we are going to go out and put some big money down and go for  Žan Vipotnik, Salech or Ewan Ferguson. 

As a way of apologise for the shit show last season this would instantly get all of us moist

Think I'd rather have kept Robinson. 

How he's gone from playing in the first team to being frozen out last season and loaned out this year is quite something. 

No doubt we'll sell him for peanuts only for a rival to pay £5m for him 12 months later, just like Dom Ballard.
