If he could just learn to hit his crosses with more pace. He does well to get to the byline but just puts in a floater straight to the keeper 9 times out of ten.

Floater 💩😂

One manager is having an even worse afternoon than Tonda - Leicester 0 Burton 2 and Oliver Skipp sent off for booting a Burton player in the abdomen.

So so brave though

Same as last week, loads of space in midfield with no saints player anywhere near

Tessum just said the same thing, he reckons it's lack of fitness

But are they winning the possession league?

If that is the case it’s totally unforgivable and dare I say it negligent. We can be the worst team ability wise but no excuses not to be fit.

Not a surprise given the respective line-ups. Flynn can’t be a whole midfield by himself.

Agreed. He seems to be getting a bit frustrated out there. Real lack of quality in the middle.

Scienza has been awful to be fair.

Most of them have. Off the pace and Stoke have too much pace, power and quality all the way down the spine. Saints have the best striker and attacking midfielder on the pitch but can’t benefit from them fully. Would be very fortunate to escape with a point if the score stayed the same.

Solid half from Stephens, good recovery from last week and the dogs abuse he gets now just for existing.  reckon we will win this one with some impact subs.

I'm not one to overreact but IMO we should sell everyone of value and build for our League One promotion push. 😉

One and a half games into the new league season and I'm beginning to wonder what it is I was looking forward too

Lots to look forward to but it may be what you don't want to see

Dismal. Plodding. Nothing in the middle, confusion at the back (Stephens should not be in a team ever), Fellows scampering around like a Tyro league player, bang average everywhere.

Very hard watch.

We are going to need to make some good signings very quick. How come we are surprised by this every bloody season?

Ambitionless

He is just ball watching and leaving the challenges to Wood

All square at the break—though we did score first, and Cyle is still in that post-World Cup form. As for the rest, it’s an early-season match: plenty of sloppy play and some unnecessary fouls...

Come on, let's get a second goal and win this!

They need their mind and senses purified!

He does absolutely nothing, apart from cause confusion and do the occasional brain fart. The team has to play because of him, mindful of his shortcomings. When he doesn't play, we look stronger.

Unless there is a big change how we approach games, we are not going up. Could see it last summer and can see it now.

Like last summer, we are very easy to score against and we are wide open in the middle of the park. Matsuki is never ever a CM.

But going forward, so very pedestrian if we are unable to play a killer pass or a long diagonal.

Lets hope Tonda is actually a good manager and not one who's abilities were enhanced by cheating.

Scrappy half, with Saints shading it. Fair few long balls to Larin, Fellows lively Scienza invisible.  THB on park and 7/10 their goal chance snuffed out. Another shit ref. We should win this comfortably if we find rhythm and better players start showing up.

79% aerial duels won by stoke apparently ☠️

A predictable statistic given the lack of strength through spine. If I was Robins I’d be saying now ‘they’re shit, on -4, and their crowd will turn on their owners if we get our noses in front, game is yours to win comfortably if you keep at it and take your chances’.
