  1. I have a feeling we're in for a bit of surprise in this one. I reckon an early San Marino-esc goal giving us a lead in the first few minutes. Southampton 1 - 6 Man City.
  2. Keto definitely isn't healthy as it's excluding an essential food group. Vegan can be healthy as you can get all the nutrition from plant based sources, it's just more difficult. There's no doubt that people should eat more vegatables and less meat, the impact on your body of having meat with every meal isn't great.
  3. Experienced striker available.
  4. Any truth in this:

    Booze

I wouldn't look at NA beers as healthy themselves, the biggest upside is the consequences of not drinking - i.e. more energy for fitness the next day/less likely to eat shit
  6. People reacting that a back 3 is defensive, but forget that our normal attacking players are crap but our full backs are good. This formation gets our most capable players further forward, I think it makes sense until we add some more quality up front.

    Booze

Considering giving up booze. Can easily go without for a while but once I start drinking I drink til I drop. Think I have to stop, but scared that my entire social life and many of my friendships are orientated around "going to the pub/bar" etc.
  8. I think they thought they stood the best chance by being surprisingly attacking, but it spectacularly backfired.
  9. "Chiesa picks it up, carries it forward, he beats one, beats a second...a third...brilliant...in to the box, he cuts it back...Armstrong shoots...throw in"
  10. Sounds like you need to improve your xZs
  11. I suspect our maverick approach to hosting the tail end of the Euros might have shifted our chances of hosting the world cup back a few decades.
  12. Imagine him in a Ralph side, slowly having any dynamism slowly sapped out of him.
  13. Noone should be booked for wearing a political symbol, that's just blatantly ridiculous. Maybe a fine, but don't change the rules of football for political reasons (I suspect the "don't bring politics in to football" brigade will disagree with me on this for some reason).
  14. Quite a shift from Trussecnomics
  15. Last year of his contract isn't he? I assume there is interest to renew but you'd want to see a few more performances like yesterday before you do.
  16. As bad as we seem to be, we're in good company. So many teams in trouble.
  17. The way he made space for himself in a dangerous position was very impressive, definitely something about him. Must be hard a being a winger in this team though, without a real threat ahead of you to aim for.
  18. I can only assume it wasn't 'Var-ed' as the foul throw wasn't considered part of the period of play the goal was scored in as we'd lost possession in the meantime. Lucky though.
  19. Any streams?
  20. This! It's utterly bonkers. Either go a midfield 3 or a back 3, something to provide some level of protection.
  21. Has anyone mentioned Elias? Came to us as an 'underachiever', destoryed Newcastle and I thought we'd pulled off an incredible signing, faded off almost immediatly.
  22. Dalot is very good tbf, as he's shown recently. Issue is he spent most of his career playing for OGS.
  23. I do think it's been a generally positive period as he inherited a side that was destined for relegation and kept up fairly comfortably in the premier league with next to no resources. It does feel like things have been generally declining since that second 9-0 though. The one thing that I wont understand about this era is the complete failure, at any point, to have more than one defensive midfielder. We found it when Romeu would get injured we'd be fucked, and now Lavia is injured we're fucked. Ralph ball is so dependant on having an out and out DM and yet we seem to have constantly walked the tight rope on it.
