im not a wotte lover , but give him credit for still sticking in there and still being professional , with all the pinnacle s**t he had to deal with , basically being told as soon as were in your out , must of been hard for him . He also wanted to bring a big lump up front but constraints prevailed .

Oh god, that means i am going to have to listen Alan Brazil and the useless sidekick Ronnie Irani talk irrelevant non factual drivel in the morning.

Funnily enough even Wotte's not going to get me to tune in to that load of drivel.

I'm well used to it, my good lady has a penchant for the same before going off to her lab and I head off for my observatory.Who cares whether the kids haven't rung home for 3 days at 6 in the morning?

I can listen to some of the late night chat, but the breakfast show is appalling,Brazil and Irani just talk about which bar they are going to and how much money they have to spend on beer, holidays and food and what freebies they have been on.

OHH Wotte on now

Wotte,"Swiss group,he did mention the name, will complete takeover in a couple of days"

"Pinnacle promised alot of things, then pulled out"

"really a joy to be at a great club,we can play a major part in league 1,optimistic"

"Surman worked his ass off for SFC"

"Be patient,we will do all we can,we need the fans support"

"this club will be saved"

Sounded positive.

Now finishing with a rendition of "when the saints"!!!

Bold statement. Mind you, I have heard the same thing from someone who coaches at the club.

To be honest, even if Mark Fry said it today with the signed agreement in his hand, I would still take it with a pinch of salt.

I won't believe it until I see a massive cuckoo clock at the front of the stadium.

missed the beginning

talk about Oscar Gobbern replacing Surman

So using the tatic of replacing more established players with kids. Hope that tatic changes when/if we get taken over. It showed last season that it didn't work..

Interestingly last nights Echo seemed to think it was only a matter of dotting the i's and crossing the t's so hopefully all systems go.

Knowing our luck, they'll dot the 'T's and cross the 'I's.

Did anyone catch the name of the Swiss group,i'm sure he mentioned it.

He said the name, definitely said the name.

Unfortunately as I was driving down the M4 with the aircon on full blast, and listening with analogue medium wave, I didn't catch the name.

I was hoping Brazil would say "so what was the name of the group, again, please Mark", but sadly he didn't.

Did anyone listening at home with clear digital sound catch the name of the group?

We can then do our own due diligence (via wikipedia!) to see if they really as "classy as f**k" :-)
