that I won't get excited about their stories yet!

Well the bid has been rejected so why should you?

But it could show what you saying in other threads maybe true that Pardew is in fact trying to strengthen the team

Pardew saying on solent (0820 today) that he is happy with first 11, very pleased with two quality signings at RB and despite injury will not be looking for anyone else.

Aware of lack of competition for wide players, particularly with Lallana carrying a knock and hopes to address this before end of window.

Agree with what AP says but surely a CM has to be a priority too!

400k bid rejected. If true, would expect us to up the offer.

I feel certain we will sign Tyson; if only to go with our signings of Richardson, Dickson and Butterson. ;)

Anything printed in the papers about us I now treat as bull sh it. We don't do speculation anymore, we do friday night surprises. I expect a signing tonight.

we might not reveal things but Tyson's agent may have a Daily Mail reporters's telephone number.

If they sign Wittingham then they won't need Tyson playign out of position on the left, so having said I doubt he would come, I can see it happening now.

It doesn't matter who we are targeting really, but it does show the standard of players AP has in his sights for us.... distinctly above the norm for Div One.

Can't be bad

Isn't that the most contradictory statement ever

Mind you. Reading that it says the bid is rejected beacuse Billy Davius is waiting to see if he can sign Peter Whittingham, not beacuse he's not for sale, or not enough sponds on the table.

I think forest want to make sure they get their targets first, before letting players go. Sensible way of going about it.

true, but i think they use Tyson as a wide man more than an out and out striker. They already have alot of strikers so could probably afford to let garner go.

Mcgoldrick and Adebola are injured though. Think we should of tried to get Garner. Alot of Forest Fans are Bemused as to why they have let him go.

Letting Garner and Tyson leave then keeping DMG would be one of the more retarded football decisions I've seen.

Hands up who wanted Billy Davies here a while back? lol

EDIT: That said, Charlton fans thought all of Pardew's decissions were retarded too. ;)

I did and still would have been happy. Look how he has transformed Forest

im not too bothered about this one myself.

i watched tyson last year a few times for forest and i thought his touch was woefull and he looked very clumsy and a bit headless chicken.

i know he done quite well in league one last time but i dont think he will be much good as we move up the leagues

much prefer having antonio back myself

Massive LOL @ The Daily Mail. Don't they realise that because we haven't signed anyone for at least 3 days and there are now only 5 weeks until the transfer window closes we are clearly not looking to buy anyone else?

The fools...

but no one wants DMG. Buying him rather than Surman or Lallana in the first place (nice one David Pleat) was the real poor decision.
