Thought i'd get one going as its only 2 days away.

No Hammond this weekend so i assume Morgan will come as a straight swap.

My team would be:

Davis

Richardson Fonte Jaidi Harding

Puncheon Chaplow Schneiderlin Lallana

Lamber Barnard

We owe them one for that game at St Marys last year, 3-1 to saints.

What did I miss ?

Team looks good except back four I'd rather have Martin palying alongside Fonte and I don't think butters has done much wrong to deserve being dropped is Richardson fit enough to play a full match?.

Hammond got his 5th booking of the season against Huddersfield, yeah i see what you mean about Butterifield, just the defence was very sloppy last weekend and maybe changes are needed.

my team for oldham would be

Davis

Butterfeild Fonte Martin Harding

Puncheon Chaplow Schneiderlin Lallana

Lambert Barnard

martin i believe is fitter and has better mobility than jaidi and for me butterfeild hasn't done anything wrong to suggest he should be dropped for a player who has only played 2 90min reserve games so far.

just hope oldham dont come with the tranmere mentallity of playing for a draw, i'm going for a win to saints by 1 goal

They can't play for a draw anymore than they did last year, never seen a team park the bus so much.

I think NA may well stick with Seaborne because he adds a bit of balance being left footed but I hope not. Although he's done ok lately I think his weakness was shown last week (from the radio comentary) that he is nor great under pressure, both in the importance of the game and also when put under physical pressure especially when attempting to pass out from the back on the desk. I would question his speed of thought and decision making. At home he gets more time so may get the nod but I would go for Martin.

My starting XI would be;

Davis

butts. Fonte. Martin. Harding

Lallana. Morgan. Chaplow Punch

Guly. Lambert

I'd drop Lambert and go with Guly and Barnard, logical if we want to play on the deck.

Martin??? don't think so, don't think NA believes he's ready for first team football as yet.

Fair comment but he was getting games earlier on in the season and looked really good IMO far more composed than seabourne and fitter than Jiadi. Anyone who can keep Kevin Davies in check is plenty good enough for league one I think.

A lot of people are saying we should drop seaborne. I don't understand this. He had one bad game against huddersfield, granted, but prior to that he'd been excellent and part of a back four that went 5 games without conceding from open play. He's a better ball player than Martin and Jaidi and we'll need to do a lot of passing to get past the double-decker that Oldham are bringing down.

Other than that, I'd agree with most of the teams people have suggested, maybe start with Guly and Barnard if Lambert isn't 100%

Forgot Lambert was injured so would be interesting to see Guly and Barnard!

I think Martin is far better than Seaborne and will develop quickly. Don't think Adkins doesn't rate him, he got injured and Adkins stuck with Seaborne for consistancy.

Him and a Huddersfield player both went for a bullet header. Lambert ended up not remembering what was going on.

Thanks. I am pretty much out of the loop at the moment. Busy at work, and having just moved into my house and Austria Telekom deciding, GPO-like, to take 1.5 months over re-installing (its not a new house) the telephone line and broadband connection

Really.. Why be so rude

Only a few weeks ago people were laughed at for suggesting must win games

As Mark says every game is must win until we are promoted, but I think the point he hid in amongst all the unnecessary vitriol was that mentioning it serves no real purpose. That can't surely be your only thought on the game tomorrow Delldays?

Not entirely sure what seabourne did wrong last Saturday to be honest. If either of the cb's looked dodgy it was fonte. Probably didn't help kelv trying to ping balls to him when he was within shouting distance. Seabourne played well, distribution was good & wasn't bad in the air. We conceded from 2 set pieces which could've been avoided but it'd be wrong to drop him after one game considering how people were claiming he was the next Cannavaro on here in recent weeks.
