Why? he was good for us. Not a fan of Kenyne Jones, going on strike is a s*** c**** move. Also Leon Best or Nathan Dyer for the way they left, obviously thought they were too big for the club. None of them showed any respect for the club which developed them.

What made you think that of Best? It always seemed to me he left because he wasn't offered a contract until after he scored a load of goals near the end of that season, i.e he didn't feel properly appreciated. Fair enough.

Ricardo Fuller for me. Not just for being sh*t and a c*nt when here, but does anyone else remember when he shot from that drop ball in the last minute? Utter w*nker.

3 or 4 i thnk, hardly loads of goals. Why would he be offered a new contract before that? He played a handful of games and wasn't in the side until the second half of the season, he didn't deserve a first team contract before that as he wasn't a first team player. as soon as he was he wanted out.

Fuller wasn't that bad, but the fans were on his back from day one, unless he played like Messi he was never going to win the fans over.

Fuller seemed to carry the can for Lowe and Redknapp only spending 90k on a striker rather than paying £4m for Clinton Morrison...

David Prutton. I wouldn't waste my car's brake pedal to save that talentless waving tw at.

Seems harsh to me. He wasnt the worlds best player, thats true, but he at least looked like he cared about the shirt. Certifiable, yes, but I cant see much reason to dislike him from his time here.

My issue with Fuller wasn't so much his performances for us but the way he gobbed off for 90 minutes on his return to SMS. Actually it wasn't 90 minutes as the stroppy tart was taken off before the end with 'Fuller ****' ringing in his ears

RedCrap team for me - father (ok not a player, but has the be the most detested creature to be associated with Saints - I will start supporting another national team if he ever becomes England manager), and son - Jamie, only came here due to daddy paying him a huge pay cheque for an injured player and then being less than complimentary about his paymasters after leaving us (s©ee yoU Next Tuesday).

Steve Williams would be worth a consideration (even though I loved watching him play for us) - we made him the player he was, went to the Arse (fair enough) but no need for snide remarks re Saints and then faded in to oblivion (quite unspectacularly at that). Lawrie -with his spirtual home (and southern supporters not really understanding footy as it should be - unlike the northerns - who really welcomed him !!!!! and now he tries to pass himself off as god's gift to all things Saints - just F off).

Sort of shows what we all know doesn't it. £90k for a player who's in the PL or £4m for a player (hang on, let me google him)........who's playing for Sheffield Wednesday

Ok, i'll say it................Beattie

Agreed. He gave up in the season he left us. What made it worse was he was made Captain, by Redknapp.

Arrogant Person with less talent than he believes he has. Cant even get in the Rangers Team now.

Perfect example of a 'Modern Day Footballer' - only interested in the money.

Sad thing is, for a couple of seasons, he was a great player for Saints.

Yep i remember that too, was whinging for his whole first season though, got 22 goals in his first season and got a bit big time, moaning about his contract saying he wanted to go to a bigger club then ended up at QPR.

I don't know if this is shared amongst saints fans, but the only memory I have of Prutton is him trying to beat up the linesman against Arsenal

and missing an open goal from 2 yards away at WBA. To be fair to him he is another one that had his best games for us when he didn't play. People slagged him off when he was on the pitch but moaned about how much we missed him during that ban.

I remember him against Liverpool, absolutely ran the show.
