Robbie Keane

Always rated Robbie Keane. I believe he was one of the players on Strachan's shopping list. The same shopping list that forced Strachan to resign as Rupert refused to spend the money on any of the players he wanted. Koumas and Konchesky wre also on the list at the time.

He's a great player. A real work horse who will always get goals. He'd never come here as there would be a host of Premiership clubs just waiting to snap him up.

Apparently he's linked with Vancouver Whitecaps, surely we're a better offer than that? He'll probably go to a Championship club if he does stay in England, or head back up to Celtic.

What NPC club is going to pay him 70-80k a week?

KK.

Even the possibility of Alan Ball at one stage would have seemed too far fetched.

Exactly Badger! KK was one, David Hirst was another. I think someone has already mentioned Speedie and Dixon (although that didn't turn out as well as the others)

This would be a serious statement of intent. Rumour has it Nic's already made the call. Please, PLEASE don't pm me because I'm sworn to secrecy but let's just say if you're getting your nipper a strip for Xmas let's hope the club shop hasn't run out of Ks, Es, As, Ns and Es! Whoops, said too much....

Why don't we go for Bridge as well. He's made his money, and could come back down here and help us out. I hear Rooney's a bit unhappy as well, he's made his money. He could come down here and help us out.

I'm sure we could get all these players, as it's such a nice place to live and quite near the Forest. For Rooney, there is the added bonus of the world famous Derby Road, for a bit of slap and tickle with a diseased ming*r whenever it takes his fancy.

Why do we need another left back? We've already got Harding and Dickson. Also Rooney has been woefully out of form lately, no time for a player like that, plus on current form he wouldn't get in a head of Barnard or Gully.

Here's a thought. Utd release Owen and Fergie makes a move for Keane. You may laugh, but who thought he'd snap up Owen? The Keane / Berbatov partnership was superb and Fergie does seem to have a knack for getting the most out of players who are nearing the end of their career.

Pretty sure that wont happen. Fergie soured that possiblilty the time he said he want worth 5 million when he went to Coventry.

He wouldn't get anywhere near our bench TBH. He just wouldn't cut it in league 1.

I think we would be far better off saving his 70k a week wages to build up a package for Antonio, i think 100m and 150k a week would suffice and a relative bargain considering him alone will win us a champions league in a few years time.
