Lallana injured...

...if he is out for ANY decent amount of time that is the season over.

Not just the season, the entire club is at risk from this injury. If he is out for more than one game, we wont go up, Cortese will pull the plug on us, walking away from all the money the Liebherrs have invested so far, selling the club for a pound and a piece of lucky heather to a family of Travellers from Sandhurst. All of our top players will go, we will sign players on a free from Mychett Athletic to replace them and slide down the leagues until we are playing in Southampton junior 5 saturday league. The travellers will turn the car parks into a Southampton gypsy commuity and use the pitch to let their horses graze and we will end up playing at Riverside Park. All because of Lallana straching too far and pulling his groin FFS.

I don't think you are taking this seriously enough. I would go so far as to suggest that if this is anything more than a knock to the head then the WHOLE WORLD is in danger.

Bit of a difference between his head and his groin.....geographically as well as anything else !!!

Maybe with AL being concussed the physio thought he'd take advantage "oh you must have hit your head if you thought I did THAT to you........"

season is not over but automatic promotion would be hard, because were not gonna win this game now its gonna stay a draw and were need DNG to show his lcfc league one form and chambo to step up to the mark or were struggle to win tight games lallana normally helps us win.

I noticed no-one has decided to dispute the stats I put up, and give me a reason to think that if we have lost Lallana long term we can pick up enough points.

He missed the start of the season when there were serious issues at the club and 3 managers, one of which didn't have a clue. He's important and nobody wants to see him out as it will affect us....but you're still being a drama queen.

if there is any doubt on them(lallana & oxo) being out for a few games hope NC gets his cheque book out tomorrow and secures a decent loan signing or 2.It is too dangerous not to get reinforcements at this stage as our squad is starting to look threadbare and it could cost us promotion.Surely we can afford someone's wages for 6 weeks to help ensure promotion !!!?

Thought Bialowski was out for ages? and he was on the bench tonight.Good news as didn't want the chance of having to rely on Forecast

Like others commented clearly seemed to be a Groin Injury. The trainer spent some time spreading his legs (hmmm) and pressing. Wasn't any treatment going on to his head. Oh, come to think of it there was some massaging going on.

AOC seemed to clatter the ad boards but the Charlton player went right through his ankle. So also a worry but no game for 11 days so phew

Adkins:

"It's a big disappointment we've lost Alex Chamberlain and Adam Lallana, who are two excellent players for us, through injury on the evening.

"We just tried to immobilise Alex as best we can. It looks as though he's just gone over on his ankle a little bit, but we'll have a better diagnosis tomorrow''

"The big thing is we've got a ten day break now before our next fixture.

"Hopefully they will recover sufficiently in that time."

That doesn't actually sound too bad then....
