Plymouth Sold Out

The official site have announced we have ALREADY sold our full allocation for the Plymouth game. I assume most were sold before it was rearranged. I believe our allocation was 2100 (corrected after Le God Legend). Now given the fact that Plymouth are in administration and need every penny and that there is a VERY good chance that we could clinch promotion at Plymouth I am amazed that we have not demanded more seats.

All I can see is 8000 Saints fans wanting to go and overwhelming the Home ends if tickets are availaible at the gate.

Can anything be done?

Tickets have been on complete open general sale for this for ages, you could have called up and bought as many for this as you like, no requirement for being a season ticket holder or even on the database, so sorry if you haven't got a ticket but really just got yourselves to blame.

i hope we do get promoted at Plymouth or Brentford, would be great to do it in front of our loyal travelling support.

So the walsall game is just one big party

What if Saints went into the Walsall game 3 points ahead of Huddersfield and with a superior goal difference. Then it wouldn't be a nervous occasion, and promotion would be claimed in front of 32,000 people. Best of both worlds. ;)

I would just love to see us win promotion away because parties in someone else's backyard are always the best!

This is what iu want to happen, all but secure it at Plymouth, go into the Wallsall game knowing we'd have to lose and Huddersfield have to win 20-0 to over take us so Plymouth is great and Wallsall at home is a promotion party.

Christ who rattled your cage? ;)

When most of the tickets went on sale it want the last away game of the season so there wasn't as much demand I suppose. I didn't think it would be a problem to pay on the gate like I have done every year so didn't think to do anything different.

Seeing they are now sold out wasn't something I was expecting and I'm a bit gutted that I might not get a ticket. Not blaming anyone else though. Will just try and get a ticket via other means and hope I'm lucky.

My work have connections there and as delldays said he can pop in and get home tickets so should be able to get a seat somehow.

I hadn't bought my ticket either as I was waiting on a mate to find out if he'd be working. Got friends down there though so they should be able to sort me out in the home end.

I'd like to think I'm a fairly loyal away fan, been to 10 already and doing Orient, Rochdale, Brighton and Brentford. Not bad on part time wages.

Bought 6 in the home end nearest as I could get to away fans I hope we can get in the away end but hey ho we are going.

I would have thought Plymouth would want to sell as many tickets as poss I would think we could take 10,000 if it looks like we could go up with a win surely they could let us have a end & 1 side ?

I would think there will be loads of us in the home end

I got mine yesterday morning, wasn't planning to go to it, but if its as significant as I'm hoping it is it will be worth the five hour train journey and numerous changes from Hungerford.

Just looking on the website it says if they get enough requests they will run another coach down there. Theres also a bold warning that "any away fans purchasing tickets in the home end face being ejected from the stadium instantly", but surely if thousands of Saints fans buy tickets for the home end they can't do anything about it, Plymouth need the gate revenue more than anyone.

Its possible that Plymouth may be fighting for their lives still in that game, therefore tickets would be in high demand for janners...

Unlikely as they are currently 9 points adrift, with 7 games left and a decimated squad. I expect Saints will be playing a relegated team at Home Park.

OS blabbing on about saints supporters being ejected immediately if they're in the home end but i don't see that happening if there's thousands of us! really should be like dellhurst again. the grandstand is closed all season so no1 can get any tickets in the main bit there. lyndhurst & devonport stands are the best bet to cramb most of us into. i sat in the home end last year when newcastle got promoted and they had their full allocation of 2200 also which takes up most of the barn park end. cracking atmosphere and the janners never sing. it wont even be their last home game of the season so the attendance would be probably under 10,000 without saints fans. think it should accomodate at least 8,000 of us if we want it in total.

Read on the plymouth forum that a couple of season ticket holders at Plymouth have been asked if they mind moving and therefore suggesting more tickets maybe released to saints in the coming days! thats the rumour down in the west country anyway!

This.

It'll be the same story for Hartlepool and Wallsall at home - especially the latter. Both games are on general sale and when I booked a few days ago all areas of the ground were available. Anyone who misses out for these games is very thick.
