The south Coast Derby.....

And i mean the proper one, against PFC.

Really quite relishing the next couple of encounters.

Should be interesting and on a much more of a level playing field than of late.

It has been an absolute age having the 4-1 defeats thrown in my face, despite a league one side beaten by a premiership side is hardly a shock in itself.Although we did outplay them for 70 mins. The less said about the defeat at Fratton the better.

I really want to excorcise those defeats, they bloody hurt.

The blue few are making plans already, however ill thought out they maybe....made me grin....

Perhaps this should be the longest 'build up thread' ever.....;)

I REALLY hope we play them towards the end of the season when it loks like they're going to get relegated. The main reason is for this...

'Sha la la la la la la la

*clap clap*

Sha la la la la la la la

*clap clap*

Sha la la la la la la la

*clap clap*

We're gonna send the pompey down!'

For 45 minutes straight!

I think it's fair to say myself and my mates have been getting excited about this one since we realised we were going up (or at least thought we were). There is so much revenge to be had for those last couple of games and nothing would give me more pleasure than ****ing stuffing them at their ****hole

That,s the problem with being in the same league as that lot down the road. To a lot of people it just becomes a two game season.

agree.

was talking to a mate about it & said would you rather we had 2 wins against the skates & just missed out on promotion to the prem or lost to them & got auto promotion? he chose the 2 wins.

To be fair a lot of people, myself included, don't really see the Prem as the promised land it's made out to be. More over priced, over hyped, quiet and with few games on a saturday at three. To stay in the Championship with regular games against the blue few (amongst others) wouldn't really be that bad.

I've said it before I'd happily be a yoyo team a season in the champ going up as champions followed by a season of PL getting thumped (so those that need it can get their fix of BIG teams) followed by another season of ripping the champ apart and repeat

Have to agree. There are so many fixtures in the Champ that will have a nice spicy edge to them, whether it's battering the pompey scum, silencing funny boy Holloway, or stuffing Billy Davies (really don't like that guy!). Plus would be great to beat dirty Leeds again, and even Brighton seem to want to create a derby match with us now too!

I don't EVER want to hear this song \ tune sung in our stadium.

Couldn't believe they actually played it on the PA before kick off at one match this season, but we really should reclaim it.

Is this the way to liquidation

Skates erased from the face of the nation

Even worse than relegation

And they won't be back again...

No , it just brings back too many bad memories.

I cannot listen to THAT tune anymore.

Nor can I, but blaming Tony Curtis is a bit harsh when it was Tony Christie who recorded it !

No surprise that at the end of the page on the first thread was as advert for Adult Learners' Week.

They really are a sad bunch of interbred retards.

For the first time, I kinda feel like the derbies will be like any other game this season. Of course the week leading up to it will be massively exciting/terrifying, but it isn't going to be like the last few years where we have build-up threads months in advance!

In the grand scheme of things, it's 2 games in a 46 game season in which I fully expect us to finish above them.

When we go to Fratton, lets smash the place up.

Erm no, lets not. We don't want a points deduction for crowd trouble. Anyway pompey fans will probably smash the place up for us. They did last time we played them and they won! Lets not lower ourselves to their level.

Out of interest, when was the last time a team got a points deduction for crowd trouble? They didn't smash it up last time, in fact it was an easy stroll back to Fratton Station after that game. The time before however was mental - I loved it! I didn't have a ticket but jibbed in - well worth the effort, forget the result (except for the 4-1, worst day of my SFC life) Pompey away is awesome, pure hatred and bile from both sides, I hate them and anyone in blue hates me - that the way I like it too!

Apologies, yes it was the 1 nil game we lost at fratton park the season before they smashed up their own place. Regardless of wether we'd get a points deduction or not for crowd trouble, I just don't think as Saints fans we should sink that low. Lets show them that we are better than them. We can take 6 points off them and if they get aggressive we can rise above it. Surely taking the points off them will be sweet enough ;)

Leave blue and white Tesco bags on the seats at St Marys to make us livid - are they colourblind as well as retarded - the posters by the way not all PFC fans some of whom are friends of mine - really.

The song they really did not like is 'show them the way to liquidation'

46 league games in the Championship next season, really couldn't give a toss about Pompey, more interested in doing well over the full season than 2 games against a relegation bound team. We should beat all of the weaker teams and concentrate on getting good results against the top teams such as Leeds, Cardiff, Forest and so on.

Erm, I cant tell if this is a joke or not. I'm going to guess not and that you're just the village idiot.

1. Sing it because it's like throwing it back in their face. It's called banter.

2. The words 'skates' doesn't fit as it's one syllable. The word requires 2 syllables. Hence 'pompey' and 'laughing' work!......'num nuts' LOLZZZZ!!!!111111111one

We could use 'skates back down' but I like the laughing one more now anyway

You should probably be more worried about a firing squad from the Grammar Police.
