Those have been 3 big ones that were hyped up by the players before and then the performances levels were woeful.

 

You can lose any time of course but those 3 performances were total non events.

 

And we have had other big games too and turned up, Chelsea away, Arsenal at home...but we can trust you to focus on anything negative

Those weren't especially big at the time though apart from being against big teams. They were good performances but weren't "must win" or "must not lose" games.

Where Fonte is concerned the writing has been on the wall for a while. A new center half for next season has to be a priority. Age is catching up with him and he's struggling to produce the form he's shown in the past which shows by the fouls and desperate moves he is resorting to.

 

Elsewhere, what the hell is Martino doing wrong? Koeman clearly sees what he brings to the team. He gets better and better with every game he plays.
