heard a nice little rumour tonight that fulthorpe is trying to team up with crouch?

this is only a 'pub rumour' :-) so its probably not to be believed but it would be an interesting proposition if true and something that i havnt heard before.

could it work?

could it be enough to get rid of lowe and wilde?

would it be enough to save us?

Hasnt that what was meant to be happening all along? Or did I mis-understand all the hype about fulthorpe?

I would have thought it is the only way forward. Lets face it a rich overseas sugar daddy looks as likley as a bank making a profit this year.

To get rid of Lowe and Wilde, someone needs to buy a significant amount of shares or atleast have them proxied to them.

In terms of saving us - football results wise we are not down yet and a few good players & wins will change everything.

But it maybe that they are starting to plan for next season.

The only way we are going to get rid of Lowe is if someone buys his shares. He wont sell his shares unless everyones shares are going to get sold. He wont move out and leave Wilde or Crouch behind so its yet another pointless excersise if its even happening.

It would start to shake things up if either LC and F started buy a few shares on the stock exchange.

I could write pages and pages on here about Fulthorpe/Cousins, about their plans, the money route, the investment area, the promises, but it would end with....fantasists and dreamers so I won't waste your time.

I'm sitting comfotably...fire away...:)

I too hope Crouch does not let these chancers capitalise, they will probably see the alledged 6mil, reported to be enough to takeover at SMS, as their route in, fu(k em, I say, they put themselves up as white knights and failed to come good, they should not be allowed to sneak in for a very small percentage of what is alledged they/their consortium were about to invest.

Has Merrington who was part of the consortium and championing these guys ever cum his guts about their current position ?

(that said, if we are going into admin and these sh1t(unts can keep us out of it then let them do so, shallow I know but hey ho)

Regardless of any past rants, any conjecture by myself and supposition - I will be VERY interested to see how Lowe and Wilde (and Lowe's poxy proxy) do act if the worst does happen (which looks more than likely) and we're relegated AND go into admin.

I would be very, VERY interested as I do truly believe, always have done, that they joined forces for more than just to protect their shares. Only time will tell...maybe. I do hope I never have to read back to this post and to find it right. Sorry for the conspiracy cr*p. I just trust my instincts.

Well, I've always thought that Lowe and Wilde had the money there....after Administration.

Lowe will have investment lined up behind him and Wilde...Tom Scott?

They won't put any money in now, because they know, that it is wasted money if they can choose to do nothing now and pick it up on the cheap, sans debts.

Then, their 5 year plan takes over - make a mint out of Jackson's Farm in a couple of years time when the financial side has improved...which in turn will reignite the housing market and the Government's need for Green Field sites to be developed.

We said it at the time, the 5 year plan is nothing to do with Football. It is merely the inroad to greater riches for them personally..

Conspiracy Theory?? Yes.

Realistic? You bet your life.

I've been saying this for about a year now. Those two clowns and their proxies have some sort of backer lined up. No proof, just a gut feeling.

Barclays I believe just published a quite healthy profit (I think). Therefore anything can happen.

I shall undertake part of the task for you then.

L Crouch has offered 2 million pounds, if he teamed up with J Fulthorpe we would probably be looking at a slightly higher figure, let's say £2000034.15
