Contract offer but as yet no definitive response. Youth product of Krasnodar and obviously hasnt left yet despite plenty of offers so lets see...

Would seem its him and Rudoni as the primary #10 targets. Lampard just now on Sky, very clear Cov need to keep their best players.

RB surely an area to target. Neither Bree nor Sugawara are the right option.

Yeah, I tend to agree. Sugawara's passing was ass today.

If we stick with the 343 or a variation, I'd say Fraser is probably our best bet there at the moment.

Today has to have been as good as an advertisement for Spertsyan as possible. Come and make the goals explode son.

Could not agree more. Sugawara was toilet last year. Absolutely fucking shite. The championship provides more time and space, which should conceal his deficiencies. Didn't today. Has to be massive improvement quickly or that position is going to be an Achilles heal.

We were looking at a RB early doors, but that was more down to the uncertainty of Suguwara I think. Now Suguwara has had no takers, we're pretty much set at RB I think.

I hoped he'd have been better today though, I thought we looked better when he was off the pitch which isn't a good look.

Well, I didn't think RB was a particular weakness today tbh. I watched the entire game and honestly Sugawara didn't stand out to me in any particular way, other than when Windass hit the bar, which was bad defensive coordination as Sugawara had to cover the left back running outside.

Sugawara and Bree are perfectly adequate for this level, would rather spend the money elsewhere on the pitch.

Wingers we’ve scouted recently: Fellows (WBA), Sima (Brighton), Abdoulie Manneh (Mjallby), Carlos Vicente (Alaves), Dominik Fitz (Austria Vienna), Tyreece Campbell (Charlton), Lewis Koumas (Liverpool).

Any idea on #10’s scouted?

Any idea on the Armenian bloke and how likely it is?

Sima would be my top choice from that list. Played in Europe, played and done well at a higher level than the Championship, Senegal international, but there is the AFCON this season. Fellows would also obviously be a good signing. Good numbers in this league with the feeling he will get better and could look better in a superior team. Koumas is a similar player to Dibling, doesn't lack confidence, technically very good and beats a man, but also not the quickest and doesn't have the best end ball, so wouldn't be top of my list. Campbell at Charlton would be a risk, I'd only take him as a squad player to develop and Charlton wouldn't let him go for a squad fee. Never heard of Manneh or Fitz until now and only know of Vicente from the YouTube video after those initial links, so can't really comment on those.

Know nothing more than what's been reported really - trying to agree personal terms with him and we're confident if that happens we'll agree a deal with Krasnodar. Bizare that it seems to be that way around so often nowadays but such is the game.

According to the x post, contract well advanced and Still was trying to get him at Lens last summer.

Looks like he’s playing for time to me.  Would really improve us, will do really well to get this over the line.

Isn’t your son involved in South American scouting?
I reckon Bree could be off, seems to be a lot of convenient injuries at the moment.

I agree.  When Still described injuries to Bree and Smallbone I did think that was code for we’re trying to sell them.

I wondered why Shea had an S.Charles on the back of his shirt yesterday don’t remember seeing this previously, maybe this might be why? Or it could be my poor eyesight and observational skills 🤷🏻‍♂️

Brandon Charles probably has a number. (U21’s)

I hope the loanee keeper is a good one so Bazunu has competition in case he goes off the boil. Right back and winger would be my guess for the others. Hopefully the exciting one is the winger.

We desperately need a creative midfielder and probably as the number one priority.

I'd say the 10 would be the purchase, either Rudoni or Eduard (i'm not trying to spell his last name).

Then use the loans to fill out gaps and lift the quality over the rest of the squad.

Keep the loan possibilities open until the end and we could maybe grab a CM and a wide attacker as starting loans with PL quality. Defo need to focus on paying $$$ for a 10 now though.

Preferably a RB who is decent defensively (as well as offensively, of course) - our wing backs feel a bit volatile at the moment. Hoping Spertsyan goes through but also that we move quickly for an alternative if he drags things out too much longer. The closing weeks will be an acid test for Spors - will he be able to avoid the typical SR mistake of scrambling after our main target doesn't work out?
