hypochondriac Posted Saturday at 13:09 Posted Saturday at 13:09 Not my choice but I sincerely hope he does really well. I really hope we get in some experience for this league to compensate for the manager's relative inexperience. 1

I get good vibes that still will not tolerate under performing players... Sullemana is a prime example of ability not reaching it's performance potential, he has the ability but not the work ethic or footballing brain.... Maybe he can unleash full potential .....That said sullemana has been crap under so many different managers now so not looking likely!

It isn't a case of 'this time' for the person picking the manager, as this is Johannes Spors first Saints manager pick.

saintant Posted Saturday at 14:09 Posted Saturday at 14:09 Good luck Will and welcome to the madhouse that is Southampton FC. If he can bring some calm and order to the situation he'll be a breath of fresh air. As fans we want to restore our pride in our club and get back to being able to get excited at every upcoming fixture. The least we expect is a squad that is at the peak of physical fitness come the start of the season. He seems to have some positive ideas as to how players should be prepared for games and claims to be unafraid to change things during matches if necessary. Lots to be positive about but the proof will be in the pudding so let's see how the team shapes up. Have a feeling Will is going to be good for us.

Lighthouse Posted Saturday at 14:18 Posted Saturday at 14:18 https://www.uefa.com/nationalassociations/uefarankings/country/?year=2025 Seems fairly reasonable, I can’t say that I’d disagree. I don’t know anything really about Still’s teams but I can’t see why he wouldn’t be able to cope with Championship football. It’s not like they release a flock of emus onto the pitch if it’s 0-0 at 75 minutes, or anything else he hasn’t seen before. 3 1

PSG being better than the rest doesn't make the rest of the league worse than the Championship. Marseille, Monaco, Lyon, Lille, Nice, Lens etc are all bigger than most Championship clubs.
