Not been following but has anyone said they wish we were birmingham yet ?

If they have please advise username as need to have a chief wet wipe for this season.

We don't have a silly accent so we're one up on them already

Not exactly #WishWeWereBirmingham but Kyogo has looked a really good player when I’ve seen him.

Brum will walk the league, IMO. They’re on the same ascendancy as we were in 2011 and Ipswich more recently. Leicester will be up there, too.

just saw Brums squad and

a man with glasses and a ring on his finger says " yeah that 's gonna be a no from me dawg "

wonder if our 2011/12 squad impressed other fans prior to the season starting?

In terms of goal output, only 4 goals in 47 games in Saudi Arabia suggests otherwise

And who was he playing with? It's not as simple as looking at stats. On paper, plenty of players who look great often end up falling over.
Demari Gray was at Everton not long ago, regularly starting in the PL. For Birmingham, that's a good signing IMO.

No nothing about the Birmingham squad except they have the England U21 forward, defensively sound and had enough to excel last season with a record points total. They must have something about them and happy to reinforce squad this season.

I watched them a fair bit last season including taking in a couple of games at St Andrews. They are a decent outfit.

Of course with the caveat that it was against lower level opposition.

May have been shared already, but interesting podcast covering the PSR finances.

Covers Wrexham, Birmingham, Wednesday, Leicester in detail. Then meanders around a few other teams - touches on ourselves and Ipswich, and also briefly on the costs of staying up etc.

Does sound like Leicester are in trouble tbh.

I'll need to switch over my PL podcasts to...lower league ones. >sob< 🙂

Look at how other clubs are setting precedent for accounting tricks, spend a fortune, if needed sell your women's team to a sister company to plug the gap. If you have owners willing to spend their own money it's quite easy

Look how we fund the other clubs in our groups success by loaning them our players and buying theirs.

Danny Rohl will CONTINUE as manager of Sheffield Wednesday because all of the jobs he was interested in went for hired other candidates instead!

It's a funny old saga isn't it, think the price to buy him out of Sheff Wed contract was just too high

Still not clear how many unpaid players could walk away in next few weeks

Hilarious. While the players still turned up for pre-season on time despite not having been paid, he didn’t and hasn’t been there for three weeks while he’s been trying to get another job. Now the last one’s going to someone else he goes back with his tail between his legs.

Obviously the situation over there is carnage, but he really has shown himself in a terrible light by the selfish way he’s behaved throughout. Even if he does well in future I think a lot of clubs will have serious question marks over his character.

Wrexham have very generously flown out to Australia for their pre-season games. Have to wonder how that's going to affect their physical preparation as Australia jet lag is no joke.

Purely a decision based on brand promotion and building the global fanbase they're obsessed with rather than good preparation, unfortunately they fly back in plenty of time before we play them so won't benefit from the jet lag. Doesn't seem like they have any other games planned yet  other than the tour down under, seems a bit odd.

Even if they aren't jetlagged when they play us - they will be jetlagged when they're training to play us.

I wish that was the case, they'll be back 3 week before our game

Saints seem a bit short of opponents as well, perhaps choosing to play more behind closed doors games that aren't publicised

Think we are playing Eastleigh, Valenciennes, Gillingham, Espanyol and Brighton. Middle three all BCD.
