I've got mates who support Spurs, Pompey and Newcastle (I'm sure most of us have) and ahhhhh... it's just glorious. I don't know who to laugh at hardest.

I’d go Newcastle - Spurs are abysmal but you know they’ll appoint some Ledley King or Luka Modric (not exactly him as still plays for Milan) interim figure and stay up final day. To get beaten home and away by a local rival you’ve looked down on since the filthy oil money came in when Sunderland were two divisions below is the worst.

Skates nightmare is them down (looks very likely) and Saints winning the play offs again.

But, but they're one of the BIG 6 (snigger).

From 'Superleague' to best stadium in the Championship would be some achievement.

I reckon they'll stay up on goal diff' meself, sadly.

I'm sure if the Superleague comes back in the summer, they'll be sure to be asked, as befits one of our very top sides. 🙂

I didn’t realise Newcastle haven’t beat Sunderland for 11 games. I’ve never really liked Newcastle another club who have been average for decades aside of a couple of good periods but everyone wanks over them like they’re the size of Real Madrid. All this shit they come out with about how they love a striker up there etc in nauseating. Spurs going down would be incredible though

My missus is doing ribs on the smoker whilst I’m watching the cup final. I had to get my own Guinness from the fridge though so she has failed today

Yeah they love a number 9 who scores goals up there. Every other club of course loves a number 9 who doesn't score goals.

You trying to show her your tender side?

You know you're in trouble when fans, on the forums of Portsmouth and Spurs, are both suggesting bringing back Harry Redknapp as a saviour! West Ham fans on Kumb were saying the same back in January too. 😜

I look closer to home if I was you, looks like you’ve taken your eye off the ball. . She defo needs a bit of retraining to get back on track.

Don’t worry her quarterly performance review is coming up, the YOY performance will be addressed then. Removal of the company car and phone is an option

On the Sunderland Forum, Gordon Muchall No1 fan makes similar points to yours https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/what-has-happened-to-newcastle-united.1675576/

The whole number 9 nonsense…Saints fans love a number 7, as do Man U.

Perfectly possible Spurs do go down btw but Tudor will be gone and the interim will get just enough points. Their run in - on paper at least - is a bit more palatable than the Hammers.

Tough though, always good to see West Ham suffer, always thought particularly arrogant fanbase, teams that have played horrible football in recent years, and recruiting our relegated players...

Then Spurs...

Happy with either

I said last night it wouldn’t surprise me if he suddenly emerged back at Fratton  Park … “ proper football club* …. tremendous working class fans …” load of nauseating bollocks.

Hope spurs appoint him first … although he was giving his usual “I’ve not heard from them, but they know where I am… yeh, I’d take it if offered” routine when asked about the spurs job at Cheltenham festival last week.

* “proper football club” - let’s remember who Arry said that about in December 2004

Arsenal don’t half time waste. Will be the worst and most boring champions in memory

Sometimes think it’s in their DNA from the Don Howe days of their double winning team early 1970’s
