If Leicester can’t turn it around 2nd half to a team who haven’t won at home all season, that’s them probably toast. Got a feeling they will - just

Dunno. Wednesday will be desperate to get at least one home win so will defend this lead ferociously. Leicester, as we've seen, don't have the cajones to turn things around when they are put under pressure.

Ipswich looking good for 2nd, although they've really not been that impressive this season. Hopefully this puts to bed the delusional thoughts of many of our fans who thought we could get 2nd, even though we're not even in the top 6. Just waiting on the inevitable BBD goal to keep Derby in the hunt

So far you’ve been proven right and Leicester haven’t threatened even. Weds’s last home league win was Easter Monday 2025….

Leicester just hit the post.

I think we want Ipswich in second and not in our way for the play offs.

Leicester please lose for the LOLZ

I’d fancy us against any of the rest over two legs or a one off game. Millwall because of the fact they’re such a big strong physical team probably the worst opposition. Rest are much of a muchness Hull, Wrexham nothing special and Boro seem to have lost their way

Now hit the bar. Not looking like their day.

Leicester equalise. Looks like all those crunch games at the bottom will end as draws. As you were.

Embarrassing result for Leicester really, shame Oxford couldn't hold on and put the Skates into the drop zone. Looking very possible for Leicester and Skates to drop, which would be delightful.

Leicester goal ruled out, 8 mins of injury time....

A shame Oxford didn’t win against the Skates today, it would have been Leicester and Skates, the two teams to screw over creditors in the relegation zone.

certainly looks like two from those three to drop out into league one.

Just like it was on Friday funnily enough. Not sure that result does the skates any favours, gives their manager a stay of execution which is a good thing as we don’t want them getting a new manager bounce.

Skates have lost their best CB for 3 games now too.

Team in red and white stripes seals promotion. Lincoln up to the Championship.

Who will be visiting either West Ham or Spurs next season as looks to be increasingly likely.

Entertaining. But with us back in the PL and Europe it might be tougher to follow it.

Some have even suggested going for Gary O’Neil 😂 their delusions know no bounds.

Ipswich are limping, and it's only 6 points to catch if we beat them when we meet.  Get within 3 and it'll be brown trousers in Suffolk on final day.

He's a very good keeper

Had this from a Wendy supporting mate earlier...

It's essentially what SR hoped Baz would be, but the difference being he's actually good at the traditional side of goalkeeping as well.

Fantastic use of the word glovesman 👏👏👏👏

He looked good and definitely kept Wednesday in the game first half and long periods of the second half. Like Baz though, he doesn’t look like the biggest of keepers. Wiki says he’s 6 ft 1 which by modern standards isn’t big. Can’t fault him today though, did very well.

If Coventry beat Hull then that's a decent set of results for us again. Would mean a win tomorrow and we've caught on Hull, Millwall, Middlesbrough and obviously overtaken Wrexham.

If Coventry win tonight then surely the title is theirs.

Happy for them, a proper club, but not looking forward to Lampards smug face

I wonder if Norwich could gatecrash the playoffs? Probably not which is a good thing because I would not fancy playing them.

Probably a bit late with games left and a 6 point game, 8 if we win tomorrow

Their best case (a draw tomorrow) sees them 7 points off sixth with only 5 games to play. Not impossible but very improbable. They’ve also got Ipswich, Derby and Hull to play, tough run in.

I’m pleased for them too, been through a torrid time and have been the best team over the course of the season. Interesting to look at previous league tables and see that for most seasons in the last 10 years teams need 97 or more points to win the league, Coventry will likely fall short of that

Let's be honest, it's a pretty crap league this year. The fact we are still talking about possibly sneaking into the autos (extremely unlikely granted) given our horrendous start, says it all.

It’s often the way though. Forest went up in the play offs after being bottom early in the season. I remember Palace were mid table all season a few years ago put a run together and went up. Usually the 3 relegated teams are better and there are always 2-3 strong teams already there but this year there is not much between anyone. Makes the league interesting at least
