Leicester, as we've seen, don't have the cajones to turn things around when they are put under pressure.
Saint_Tony Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Ipswich looking good for 2nd, although they've really not been that impressive this season. Hopefully this puts to bed the delusional thoughts of many of our fans who thought we could get 2nd, even though we're not even in the top 6. Just waiting on the inevitable BBD goal to keep Derby in the hunt

Weds’s last home league win was Easter Monday 2025….
CB Fry Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago I think we want Ipswich in second and not in our way for the play offs. Leicester please lose for the LOLZ 3

Millwall because of the fact they’re such a big strong physical team probably the worst opposition. Rest are much of a muchness Hull, Wrexham nothing special and Boro seem to have lost their way 5

goodymatt Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Birmingham scored a perfectly fine equaliser but ruled out for the ball going out of play, which it didn’t. Lucky Ipswich. 1
LGTL Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago Leicester equalise. Looks like all those crunch games at the bottom will end as draws. As you were. 1

goodymatt Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Embarrassing result for Leicester really, shame Oxford couldn't hold on and put the Skates into the drop zone. Looking very possible for Leicester and Skates to drop, which would be delightful. 2

A shame Oxford didn’t win against the Skates today, it would have been Leicester and Skates, the two teams to screw over creditors in the relegation zone. certainly looks like two from those three to drop out into league one. Just like it was on Friday funnily enough. Not sure that result does the skates any favours, gives their manager a stay of execution which is a good thing as we don’t want them getting a new manager bounce. Skates have lost their best CB for 3 games now too.

Willo of Whiteley Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Boro have imploded in the most Arsenal way possible at this time of the season!
pingpong Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Ipswich are limping, and it's only 6 points to catch if we beat them when we meet. Get within 3 and it'll be brown trousers in Suffolk on final day. 1

The Kraken Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago He looked good and definitely kept Wednesday in the game first half and long periods of the second half. Like Baz though, he doesn’t look like the biggest of keepers. Wiki says he’s 6 ft 1 which by modern standards isn’t big. Can’t fault him today though, did very well. 1
Harry_SFC Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago If Coventry beat Hull then that's a decent set of results for us again. Would mean a win tomorrow and we've caught on Hull, Millwall, Middlesbrough and obviously overtaken Wrexham.
Cabrone Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago I wonder if Norwich could gatecrash the playoffs? Probably not which is a good thing because I would not fancy playing them.
Saint NL Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago If Coventry win tonight then surely the title is theirs. Happy for them, a proper club, but not looking forward to Lampards smug face 1

Not impossible but very improbable. They’ve also got Ipswich, Derby and Hull to play, tough run in.

Interesting to look at previous league tables and see that for most seasons in the last 10 years teams need 97 or more points to win the league, Coventry will likely fall short of that 1

The fact we are still talking about possibly sneaking into the autos (extremely unlikely granted) given our horrendous start, says it all. Edited 4 hours ago by Harry_SFC

Forest went up in the play offs after being bottom early in the season. I remember Palace were mid table all season a few years ago put a run together and went up. Usually the 3 relegated teams are better and there are always 2-3 strong teams already there but this year there is not much between anyone. Makes the league interesting at least

This kid has spent a fair few games this season watching us at St Marys. Know for a fact our analysts were watching him too before his injury. I'd be shocked if the possibility of him joining hasn't been muted but I'd also be shocked if he isn't wanting first team football wherever he goes next season and presumably that wouldn't be with us.
