Really fucking exciting time to be a Saints fan.

I remember when we signed players like Ings, Van Dijk, Wanyama, Steve Davis.

Now we cream our pants over getting a loan right-back returning, a geriatric midfielder and a reserve keeper.  Hardly cream our pants but you get my drift.

Thanks a lot Sports Republic.  You’ve really turned a silk purse into a sows ear you complete fucking muppets.

The great thing about our approach is that we are slowly building under the radar, not chasing big names, not spending big money. It's building an empire behind a wall. Soon the Empire will be more powerful than anyone would ever imagine, all driven by a data backed approach. All those that didn't believe will be silenced, all the naysayers who criticised will be served large helpings of humble pie. We are coming to the end of the break it phase, now we are in the rebuild phase, the rebuild will soon be complete. Building a dynasty requires patience, it takes years measured in decades. The break it phase is a small dot on a long term timeframe. SR will carry us kicking and screaming to heights we could never believe in the end we will thank them.

I think thats unfair, they obviously have to tread carefully or they will not have the access to the club they need. Its a customer client relationship, would be mad for them to sour their relationship. As fans we dont care if we say something that is not paletable to the club/owners but their jobs to a degree are on the line.

Maybe but the fact they're speaking out now openly being critical is evidence of how bad things must be

JWP made it to Burnley,  wonder if Parker can get him going forward 🙂

So:

He's happy to accept another relegation on his CV for a bit of cash and a chance to play. Although I suspect W Ham just want to reduce their outlay on his wages that they're paying with no likely return.

Maybe he thinks he'll outlast the manager when they go down. When W Ham do, they'll look to sell him cause his wages are too high so the merry-go-round will start again.

Will look to move in the summer in the hope that W Ham will have amortised his value enough to sell him on the cheap.

Will look for another bumper pay-packet.

Is likely to end up a free agent who someone will take and their fans will end up saying 'He's good' until they realise he isn't six games in.

Presume he'll live in a hotel for a few months, or limited rented accommodation.

Wolves about to sell Strand-Larsen to Palace for £50m.

Bottom of the league and 1 league goal to his name this season, madness! Still, I wonder if this renews their interest in signing Arma?

He’s been linked to Ipswich in the Guardian rumour mill but another name to throw into the mix - Sam Surridge. He’s had a bit of a nomadic career but scored lots of goals in the MLS and at 27 is probably close to his peak. Possibly a late bloomer? He’s a fairly tall lad too so may fit the profile we are looking at.

At least Saints waited until the summer before flogging the valuables. Imagine if they tried selling Fernandes or Dibling in January 😂

Absolute madness, he looks bang average at best every time I see him.

Just goes to show how difficult it is to get a decent striker these days.

Regarding Arma, I'm not his biggest fan but it's undeniable he scores goals in the Championship and that won't be easy to replace. But if we get a good offer approaching £15M I think it would be hard to turn down and it feels like both player and club could do with a fresh start, so I wouldn't be too upset.
