Big M Posted December 20 Posted December 20 We're a bit crap really aren't we... Downes? Is he on the pitch, THB and Wood are they marking each other? Manning may as well be sat in the stand,Tonda needs to change this now, Fellows on, Manning off, Robinson on THB off.
Convict Colony Posted December 20 Posted December 20 maybe today is the day we have a good 2nd half finally
Mr X Posted December 20 Posted December 20 Think SR got well carried away with the good mini run and decided to appoint tonda without thinking it through or seeing if he could do it longer term! Second half's we have been terrible
Turkish Posted December 20 Posted December 20 That reply shows that’s an awful tackle definitely red get fellows on NOW 1

coalman Posted December 20 Posted December 20 Just now, saintant said: Right, back fucking four now! Or. Let's get another centre back on to defend against crosses. 1
Suhari Posted December 20 Posted December 20 Tuned in late and the first thing I see is the red card. You can thank me later. And in other positive news, my pork pie and pickled onion lunch is fantastic. 1
stknowle Posted December 20 Posted December 20 Good decision ref. Now can we improve upon our 1 star record of taking advantage of being a man up?
saintant Posted December 20 Posted December 20 Man sent off for them and Tonda appears to be sitting on his hands. 1
obelisk Posted December 20 Posted December 20 No need for five at the back now. Question is, does Eckert have what it takes? 2
Lee On Solent Saint Posted December 20 Posted December 20 Absolutely no excuse for a fuckin back five now 3
bpsaint Posted December 20 Posted December 20 Luckily if there’s one team that’s great against 10 men it’s us 😳 2
Gloucester Saint Posted December 20 Posted December 20 (edited) Definite red card, could’ve broken Wellington’s leg. FFS get Fellows on. Rip up the Rasmus playbook and ditch 5ATB, show some cojones. Edited December 20 by Gloucester Saint 1
CheshireSaint Posted December 20 Posted December 20 If Tonda doesn't scrap the back 5 now, we have made the wrong appointment. 3
Saint_clark Posted December 20 Posted December 20 They're still a good enough side to go on and beat us by 2 or even 3. We need to adjust and push them back to reduce their attacking threat. 1
Mr X Posted December 20 Posted December 20 This has to a draw minimum at home against ten men no excuses not to get something out of the game! 1
coalman Posted December 20 Posted December 20 "Surely they don't need five at the back".... amen, tater, amen.. 2
adrian lord Posted December 20 Posted December 20 Our record against 10 men is not the best if my memory serves me well...! 1

Rabbit in the headlights, if I was Lallana I’d be telling Fellows to warm up and prepare to change shape straight away, Lampard’s made his changes and been proactive. Sheaf Saint Posted December 20 Posted December 20 1 minute ago, coalman said: "Surely they don't need five at the back".... amen, tater, amen.. Let's wait and see how long it takes TE to react. When Leicester went down to ten we persisted with 3 CBs for a further ten minutes before making any changes.
coalman Posted December 20 Posted December 20 Now we get 5 minutes of pressure before Coventry realise they can nullify us with 10 men as easily as 11. Meanwhile no subs are made because playing 4 at the back is a sackable offence for Sport Republic.
Saint_clark Posted December 20 Posted December 20 Their defenders have handfuls of shirts before the corner is even taken.
Lighthouse Posted December 20 Posted December 20 Just got home and turned the telly on, that’ll do! 1
Saint_clark Posted December 20 Posted December 20 Perfect evidence there that you need to immediately apply more pressure when the ball is cleared. They never reorganised from the chaos of the first cross. I'd like to see more quickly taken corners etc as well for that reason. 2
