No point in getting a lower league manager. The bunch of bastards in our first team squad would just ignore him and play however they want.

It’s mentalist it that people like Alex Neil are now getting the approval rating from Saints fans.

This isn’t a dis towards Hypo, it’s purely indicative of how far we have fallen.
We have fallen so far that we’ll take any relative low end EFL manager now over the PE teacher.

Yep, and would consider Keiffer Moore or, Christ alive, Ollie McBurnie as useful additions.

Not if they’re in the bomb squad they won’t. But it means SR and Spors backing a manager to manage and there’s the issue.,.

Just get Lallana in the dugout for Sunday & rest of season - at least he knows what the derby means & would command more respect than TE in the dressing room!!

Just like the respect he got when he was there..... none

I’m guessing Lallana wasn’t interested in the job. But if he was…. and it came down to a decision between Tonda and Adam…. on what planet would the answer ever be Tonda??? It makes no sense and in these cases you’ve got to hope to fuck it was never a choice between the 2.

I don't think Lallana was ever in the equation to be honest, he wasn't 'Spors' man. It was only ever going to be Tonda.

When Still was sacked, the usual logical approach is that the existing first team coach/assistant assume interim control - which would have been Tisdale and Lallana. But the fact they went straight to Tonda told me that he's our new manager, he was never interim no matter what bollocks the club put out.

We sold Tall Paul for £8M? to a club who i think messed us around in the past. I strongly feel he would be on 10 plus goals now why?

Although you maybe right, the logic presented doesn’t prove it one way or the other.
There’s every chance Lallana asked not to be considered, and who could blame him, we’re an utter shit show.

This is true both ways, only a handful actually know the facts.

On the face of, it’s bizarre that a young kid gets offered ahead of someone with 30-odd full international caps, coaching badges and a rising coaching reputation.

Equally, Adam might have thought ‘fuck me, they’ve messed the window up again and I really don’t want to manage Flynn, Ryan, Nathan and others. I’ll carry on with the u21 because this lot change like their underpants and it’ll come around again by February, if I want it at all’.

We should go for a completely left field appointment next, maybe Matt Hancock, Kwasi Kwarteng, or Alan Carr.  Would be a fucking hoot!

Alan Carr’s dad would be but sadly I think he passed away recently.

No barrier to disruption Gloucester!

Just someone like him with some reasonable first team management experience, operational experience, head of scouting etc and played the game as well. Probably more of a Rasmus replacement but he handled Ashley and would have handled SR easily. Should have been looking for a younger version of him when they bought the club.

A younger version of John Williams as the CEO who was at Blackburn for their glory years would have helped them as well.

Of course, but far to sensible for Sport Republic.  After hiring the tea boy not sure where Ankerson heads now for further disruption.  As an aside, did you know that Alan Carr's second cousin is Paul Gascoigne? :)

Getting coaching badges is time consuming and distracts from the important work of being a disruptive entrepreneur. Far simpler to hire someone cheap and compliant that already has a badge to enact your grand vision.

Did you know Rasmus has his coaching badges? Well according to his Wikipedia page.

Imagine his team talks and press conferences.

Explains why he constantly wants to interfere.

Might as well just make him manager after Tonda gets the boot after our inevitable humping by the skates. He's got as much experience of managing a senior first team and it's not like he could do a lot worse.

He's obviously full of great ideas, and if he's got his badges let's just cut out the middleman and let him show what he can do.

La la la la la la la la la la la, Rasmus at the wheel, at the wheel, Rasmus at the wheel

Yes!!

"pre madonna" made it's annual appearance.

You love to see it.

I assume this refers to 1976.....sorry, I've read it again and realised it didn't say "pre-Maradona" 🤔🤦😁

Agree. Would be an advantage knowing where the cunt is at 3pm on a Saturday.

I did think about that before.  I didn't know he had coaching qualifications though.

It's a serious suggestion though.  Why not have RA manager?  Cut out the (alleged) middle man.  Amusing if he had to sack himself

Re-read what's written there - it only says he "studied for" not that he obtained his coaching badge.

He then studied for UEFA's A Licence, and became the assistant-coach for the under-17 team at a club
