Should be easy , 33,250 was stated as initial allocation. Last season with semi finalists were just given 36,500 up front Have a plan in place if a team sells the tickets then put then implement that plan rather than miss out on potential selling days

Understand the logistics of the extra services only going from Central, but it's got me twitchy that I'll even be able to get onto 'my' train. Not too bothered if it's standing room only, as it's only 40 mins to Reading. If you change at Basingstoke, both SWR and GWR run trains to Reading and there are about 10 an hour to Paddington!! I don't think they are that much slower and won't have that strange smell Cross Country trains have!! I am not sure how viable it is but you can go via Salisbury - Reading - Paddington

The JPT and the Playoff Final we drove to Basingstoke and caught the train from there and it wasn't that busy, you couldn't get on at Eastleigh or Winchester. I suspect this time people with travel to Central to get the train from there but you might get diverted out of Platform 4 and have to queue up outside Platform 1!!

Willo of Whiteley Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago I’m sure they’ll be more released, I’d have thought the FA wouldn’t want a half empty ground

City started a new window this morning I believe so probably waiting to see if that makes any dent. Regardless they're not going to need the rest of the upper tier it seems. Wonder how many more we'd sell. Cant have been thousands waiting for general sale you'd have thought. Edited 17 hours ago by EssEffCee

This isn't a usual away game though. There are 10-15k season ticket holders who are used to seating who will be at Wembley. I've deliberately tried to pick a spot where people will be seated. My Dad is 79 and can't stand for 90 mins so needs to be in an area where people sit.

I went to the Man City v Forest semi last year (club Wembley block 241) , were loads left empty around there. I think it does spoil the big game occasion if there's 20,000+ empty seats

I've just had a quick peek on Blue Moon and the most recent posts seem to acknowledge that we're in really good form, won't rest any players ahead of the Ipswich game, and that they will need to be on it to beat us.

Hopefully they shift a few more. The JPT final - as special as it was at the time - would have been better if the stadium was full. I was up in the gods for that and the atmosphere was one of the worse of any game I've been too. In the lower tier behind the goal this time, so hopefully it's better.

I know last year each team had 36,500 , Forest sold out asked for more but FA declined, they should have had another at least another 3,250 ready for us as soon as first lot sold out. We had a crowd of nearly 86k at the play off final , going to be 25k less than that as things stand which is a shame.

Weirdly having city not sell out, and Saints players seeing our ‘yellow wall’ in good voice could give us an extra 0.something%. If we win this game I do think we’ll win the tournament. I’m basically looking for any leg up or reason to feel optimistic that I can find. 1
