I have heard that he has been banned and the club are contesting it

I've heard it was announced a few weeks ago but we all missed it.

Why's everyone being so negative? It will be fine. Probably a suspended ban or something.

Rumour around Soho Square today that Tonda has been exonerated and the FA has performed a reverse takeover on the minus four, so we are currently third.

FFS, it is just football. Who on earth deserves death threats over a game played by over paid prima donnas? People have done far worse and got a lot less grief.

I'm not suggested he deserves any of that of course not! but at the same time the poster made out he was a victim in all of this.... He isn't

You coukd have brought stuff on yourself by your own mistakes and simultaneously also be a victim when you're receiving death threats and have to be careful with your security. He's both.

Anyone else care much less about this than they did even three weeks ago? Tired by it all now.

That would be me then. Ridiculous situation. He'll have probably left for a bigger job before the sanctions are announced.

Just been told it's highly unlikely we wont here before that. Make of that what you will

Is that when Rob Edwards is being announced?

Remind me again, who is Tonda Eckert and what's he been charged with?

He is our U21 manager. Has Hungry Eyes apparently.

Haven't we been punished enough?

To be fair knowing MB, Rob Edwards isn’t going to be our manager until 2028.

We've lost good Managers before and loads of great players and yet we've survived and never plumbed the depths of other South Coast clubs, so what is there to be pessimistic about?

I think, if someone threatens to kill you, that does kind of make you a victim doesn’t it? There are some proper nutters out there and you never know just how far they will take it. It is bad enough having to carry the weight of the current consequences and possibly still end up losing his job without having to deal with death threats too. Let’s not forget what actually happened to cause this and how it has been blown up out of all proportion!

This is so predictable:
Tonda will be hit with a massive ban (6-12 months).
SR will be caught completely off guard as they did not see this coming.
During the appeal-process, Tonda will not be allowed on the touchline, and we will stumble along with some sort of a Gardner/Lallana combo.
Then the appeal gets dissmissed, and SR (who can not believe their appeal did not go trough) will start from scratch with the search for a new manager.
Then they will appoint someone who is very different from Tonda in style and setup.

It migh not happen exactly like that, it is mostly set up to illustrate my faith in SR and those in charge 😄

FA has been dreadful through this process. It can't be in anyone's interest to take this long.  But it HAS to be coming to an end now.  Pretty sure we'll know by the end of the week.  Oh, and the immortal Bob Marley has a prediction for us all...

Hearing we're being linked with Thomas Frank

My sources tell me we are now being linked with Frank Sidebottom. Might be bobbins though.

Sadly this seems the most likely.

Then watch Tonda finish the season in the Bundesliga and being a European club manager at the end of next season.

Very good point - I forgot about that

This is the bit that sounds true and depressing above all of the other problems, whoever it is will probbably try and get players who don't like playing in positions and styles to play in those positions and styles.....it seems very, very, likely.

I'm not laughing.
