Gloucester Saint Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago More suicideball at the back nearly costs them again. Has Russell Martin kidnapped Steve Clarke and is wearing a Clarke mask to impersonate? Because they are playing like Southampton FC autumn 2024 edition. 1
SNSUN Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Well Scotland haven't capitulated. Good for them I guess.
SNSUN Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Scotland concede a second in the eighth minute of six minutes injury time. 😄
Gloucester Saint Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Great cross and header but horrific defending leading up to it, Gunn couldn’t catch Covid. 1
obelisk Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Had the chance to clear it but no. Let's fanny around with it and concede another goal. 1
Lee On Solent Saint Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Awful defending. Just couldn't clear their lines 1
Gloucester Saint Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Just now, John Boy Saint said: Gunny grasping at air Like Bazunu, he’d drop it if he got anywhere near it. Has his dad’s name but that’s about where goalkeeping abilities end. 1
Gloucester Saint Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago (edited) And nearly 3. More horrific defending and overplaying. Getting Saints autumn 2024 flashbacks, Edited 21 hours ago by Gloucester Saint 1
obelisk Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago What time is the flight back to Glasgow in the morning? 1
Gloucester Saint Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Paying £13m for Angus Gunn, or whatever robbery it was, was pure early onset as a transfer and almost as bad as Bazunu.

It's ok, we won't make that mistake again of signing a shit keeper. (I mean after George Long...) 1
Suhari Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Brazil really aren't what they used to be. Unfortunately, Scotland are. 3
SNSUN Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago I like hope the commentators keep saying things like "minus 3 goal difference might get you through..." Dude there are 30 odd minutes left to play yet.
pingpong Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago (edited) 6 hours ago, Willo of Whiteley said: Are Scotland through regardless because of head to head? Or are they actually using GD like normal? The best third place race does include gd, and with only 3 pts and -3, it'll be tricky. They need to finish above 4 teams, so they need 4 of the 7 still active below scenarios to happen. Group d - they need Australia to beat Paraguay and USA to beat or draw with Turkiye Group e - they need Germany to beat or draw with Ecuador and ivory coast to beat or draw with Curacao. Group f - they need Japan to beat Sweden by 4 goals, and Netherlands to avoid a 5 goal defeat to Tunisia. Group I - they need Iraq narrow win, or to draw with senegal Group j - they need Austria to beat Algeria by two goals, Argentina to beat Jordan. Group k - they need a draw between Congo and Uzbekistan, or a Uzbekistan win by less than four goals. Group L - they need a Ghana win against Croatia by at least 3 goals and for Panama not to win against England. Edited 15 hours ago by pingpong
SNSUN Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Would be sad to see Scotland scrape through based on one crappy win against a poor side but that's the nature of this World Cup. You don't need to do too much to get through. Cape Verde are far more deserving than Scotland of getting through and they may not yet.
Saint Pete Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago If Scotland wanna go through they need to go for it in last 20 and try to improve their goal difference by at least 1 goal, maybe 2. Otherwise they will surely be out once everyone else has played.
Baird of the land Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago Pathetic the way Scotland threw the game with 3 pieces of suicidal defending (with ref letting them off one of those). When you see way some so called lesser nations have got results through not gifting big team anything. 1

Saint Fan CaM Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Scotland were pretty much toothless - Brazil were not even playing at their best and trounced the Scots sadly. 1

Hindsight and all that, but they really needed to make the most of playing Haiti first game. I bigger win might have had them more comfortably placed for the farce of 3rd place qualification. 1

Should pay a chunk of his wages until the end of his contract. It looks like Bremen would get Sugawara's FIFA money, as he's temporarily registered there. Whereas we would get the Larin money as he's been permanently transferred.

die Mannyschaft Posted 15 minutes ago Posted 15 minutes ago Can Germany keep a clean sheet, not with Rudiger he's a liability. Should walk this no pressure, an average team but expect to to QF. I expected Ecuador to be much better so they will defend and catch Germany on break. Is Wirtz really a £110m player, think Liverpool over paid. Ecuador 1-3 Germany
obelisk Posted 10 minutes ago Posted 10 minutes ago That decision is just plain corrupt. This ref id going to lose control. 2
Saint Pete Posted 8 minutes ago Posted 8 minutes ago What are VAR thinking not giving a foul for that?! It's a head high foot and he clearly made contact with defenders head. 2
pingpong Posted 7 minutes ago Posted 7 minutes ago That's the worst decision of the WC so far, maybe the worst in the history of var. That's exactly what it's there for and they didn't use it... 2
saintant Posted 6 minutes ago Posted 6 minutes ago Justice for Ecquador after they were clearly cheated by VAR on the German goal. 1
die Mannyschaft Posted 3 minutes ago Posted 3 minutes ago Dodgy Germany defence, a but like Saints just keep the ball away from own box.
