Their decision is utter bollox. It was a stupid challenge, but 2 match ban, on top of missing nearly half a game...They are such a corrupt organisation, kind of feel what the Egyptian manager was saying.

The ban isn’t because of the war, it’s down to Argentina still claiming it’s their territory so FIFA see it as an ongoing dispute between the countries.

Spain lay claim to Gibraltar, but I am certain we have had Spanish officials involved in our game over the years.

Apparently the reason for 2 game ban is because it has been classed "as serious foul play" which carries that suspension. However, Balogun's red card was also for serious foul play, but as we all know Fifa then reduced that to 1 match and then suspended it for a year for reasons that I'm not aware they even bothered to pretend to explain... other than saying they could do it according to their regulations! The worst thing for me is the complete lack of transparency, I don't know how they are getting away with it. I hope there is follow up from Uefa and other federations to halt Fifa's power in the future after this tournament.

Its clear some teams are treated differently. Watching fouls on screen after game to review all red cards and apply same ban if similar tackles is easy enough. 

England pose too much of a threat now and that worries all the French and Messi fans in FIFA

Checking and then, wrongly IMO, ignoring the foul by Doué on the edge of his own box in the build up. 

Not shown again, of course, as it would have been obvious it should have been a foul.

I'll take France winning this in 90, been a poor game and I'd like it to be over quickly. Much how the missus prefers my lovemaking.
