For those nostalgia merchants, something a bit of fun.

I’ve been listening to a great little podcast called That 90s Premier League Podcast over the last six months. It pretty much does what it says on the tin - a roll back through all things from the Prem. Sky Sports, Subbuteo, 90s goalkeeper kits, transfers that nearly happened, and then their ‘Vinted Corner’, where they look at bits of memorabilia they’ve picked up, from playing shirts to Mitre match balls.

So…

What’s your favourite bit of Saints-related memorabilia that you currently own?

And is there anything football related you’ve had over the years that you’ve lost, sold or let go in an old tip run that you wish you’d kept?

Would be good to hear what people have tucked away!

I played at St. Mary's a few years back, think it must have been 10 years ago now.  Great day out, and afterwards I was given a signed Saints football which still has pride of place in my home office.

Probably either the sash shirt, my Matt Le Tiss Corinthians figurine (that I take to matches as a sort of good luck charm) or the promotion flag we got when we went up in League One that was given out in our last home game against Walsall. I loved that League One promotion season.

I do have 2 signed Saints footballs I bought off eBay on a whim years ago, both deflated and both currently clutter and I have long since lost the providence letters that they came with but when I eventually do the grown up thing and buy a house, I will have a little area set aside for my Saints merch. If the wife disagrees with that I may give them away in which case you lot on this site will be the first to hear about it.

I think it has to be my 1976 FA Cup mirror purchased with my pocket money from a shop (Goldsmiths?) on Rumbridge Street in Totton - it’s still proudly on my work desk. Next to it is my 1976 FA Cup mug and a ‘Southampton FC - The Dell’ mug…

I’ve got loads of my own and other sports memorabilia. For Saints, I have:

- Parents 1976 FA Cup Final programme, tickets and rosette. FA Cup mirror that my grandfather gave me.

- Dad’s 1979 LC Final programme. He put a tenner on David Peach to score first at 16/1.

- Kevin Keegan against the world book signed to me that Dad queued up for.

- First programme from 1983/4

- FAC SF programme v Everton and 1986 v Liverpool

- Loads of programmes 1960s-80s including multiple Football League Reviews

- SMS opening programme 2001 and MLT testimonial.

- 2010/11 sash shirt. I’m size L now not medium (renovation your house does that) so if anybody wants it…

- Villa 93/94 signed shirt (long story)

- Barmy Army polo shirts from overseas Test tours

- Nigel Cowley testimonial signed cricket bat

I’m sure there’s lots more but will look at it again the autumn. My dad went to football all over the country, Liverpool v Bruges 1978 EC Final, Derby title presentation 1972. I’m sure I’ll find more.

My treasured possession is my red and white bar scarf with an embroidered circular patch saying Southampton FC FA Cup Winners 1976, I have had that scarf for 50 years now and it’s survived lots of house moves, love it.

I have a tshirt that says Rupert Lowe has to go or something similar. I was only a kid at the time but I got it off eBay about a decade ago. Must dig that out actually.

Might be Swing Lowe, pretty sure those were a thing circa 2006 and 2009.

I've inherited my dad's 70's program collection including some cool testimonial programs with i think charactures of players drawn by one of the team..cant recal who..., a signed copy if the saints FA cup commentary record, signed by most of the squad but also loads of 80s players including KK, a black 76 fa cup mug with gold writing which is fairly snazzy. Think we had the 76 mirror as well..but that disappeared.  More recently I have a ball kicked into the crowd by Alan shearer at Matt Letissiers testimonial match...oh and a match worn Moussa Djenope shirt from our first relegation season! It was worn v Burnley i think for about 2 minutes! I won it in a season ticket draw!

Don't have much, sure I'll inherit my dads boxes and boxes of programmes at some point!

I've got a couple of shirts signed by full squads up in my my office.

I bought my little one a shirt when he was born, and managed to get it signed by MLT when I played golf with him, need to frame that and stick it up in his room at some point!

Also randomly got given Jose Fontes signed match worn boots, think someone won them at a raffle and gave them to me.

Been collecting ticket stubs for the last 15 years or so, so its a sad day when it all goes online for aways!

The keyrings that you got with season tickets. I've written a strongly-worded letter to the club about their discontinuation and will raise it at the next fans' forum.

I have a brick from the Archers Road end. Stopped and asked the demolition company for it on the way for an interview in town 😂

Got my copy of All The Saints by FF of this parish, signed by a couple of dozen players at the launch event and subsequently Painey, Mick C and Brian 'can I borrow your boots' O'Niell. Does a hangover from drinking with Jim Steele count?

A Congratulations card for our wedding from Juninho; my late F-i-L's girlfriend knew someone at 'Boro.

My programme from the '05 relegation game v Man U signed by pretty much every Saints player there inc. Marian Pahars and Bobby Charlton. (He looked a bit pissed off, it was only afterwards I realised I'd called him Mr Charlton, forgot about the knighthood... )

Framed shirt signed by the 2001-02 team

My dad's got a betting slip from Pompey greyhound track signed by Mick C - probably not rare!

I suspect the player cartoons were by Ron Davies

Signed Le Tissier 7 shirt, replica of the one worn in the last game at the dell. Framed in the living room. The signature is fading a bit now though.

Signed Football by the 04/05 (I know, I know...) squad. The first year I had a season ticket. So, even though it was a shite season, it has meaning for that.

I have a couple of old seats from the Dell that are in need of some work after being in a greenhouse for years.

There's a programme signed by Alan Shearer after his full debut hat-trick - I worked for Hythe Chemicals and there were occasional invitations to the hospitality suite by a supplier; when no-one else took them up I got to go, and I happened to be there for that game and queued up to get his autograph after the game.

Thanks to the same supplier I got to take part in the annual penalty competition before one of the games. Scored 5 out of 6 one year and 0 out of three the next, so I've been jeered by Saints fans for being rubbish and have a photo in the loft to prove it.
