In a similar vein...

Already a hauntingly emotional song and video, but when you know the story behind it (was written by her mum but she never got round to recording it before she died, and Martha couldn't be there because she gave birth prematurely while touring in the UK), it hits even harder.

Agree that the Aha video is an genius piece of work, but for me it has to be this, based on the impact it had seeing it at the time in about 1981 probbaly an early video before they became an essential part of a record launch 

 

 

 

No doubt for many its been surpassed by subsequent creations but still a classic.

Okay bias to disclose - it was a good time of my life, and more recently it's been a Saints favourite for Fonte in some more good years.

That comment was only in relation to the Avalanches TBF, but I then decided to add a couple more.

Imagine how angry you've got to be to post at 2am on a Bank Holiday Monday that the Avalanches is not considered as a "bit left field" on a music thread. 😂😂😂

@Farmer Saint, yours was a great shout, but I reckon this is the better Beastie Boys video - cheesy AF - and one of the best gym tunes.
