My hypothesis of "I wager we'd be higher than 7th had Toby played" can't be proven. Maybe we'd have conceded 0 goals against Liverpool, West Brom and Swansea and ended the month with four 0-0 results, but 3 more points? Maybe he could have played right back and Clyne or Yoshida at left back (both have played there) instead of Target, so we may have had slightly better forward play? Or maybe he could have played the DM role against Swansea when we were missing both Wanyama and Morgan? Who knows, it's a just a hypothesis.
