Post-Match Reaction: SAINTS 1-0 West Ham United
Patrick Bateman replied to Minsk's topic in The Saints
This. Many seasons have gone by when I've bemoaned our lack of ability to time waste, that was first class. I'm being serious, every other bloody team always seemed to do it to us and we were always utterly inept at it. -
F**king 'rosters'. That's just so, tongue pushing out within bottom lip noise inducing.
-
Exactly this. If Wenger and all the other cash-rich plebs f**ked off to China, we'd still have a league to watch that would not be harmed and you never know, it might be more fun again.

Koeman and Wenger post-match 'bust-up' in the tunnel
Patrick Bateman replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
I still think it'll be Spurs, the one team that no one is paying any attention to. Leicester - "shouldn't be up there", so all eyes on them Man City - Pep coming in, all eyes already on them Arsenal - eyes on them as they're expected to win Man Utd - eyes on them as Van Gaal is guff Liverpool and Chelsea are nowhere, leaving Spurs, who have only lost 3 matches all season, to quietly get on with business. -
Couldn't agree more with this. It's clinical and a little weird. It needs livening up (and you CAN understand why all the good posters don't post anymore).

Very good question, but unfortunately definitely "Bompey" [sic] although not included in your options.

You have to wonder about some fans. There is one rivalry here, the other is just another team that happens to be on the south coast that some Saints fans also used to cheer for ...
-
Good fun, I like it - should have fixed it for Saggychops vs Branfoot though

Do all PL teams fans sing OWTS now...

100% this. The same atheist hypocrites who thought it acceptable to wear the racist hair and hat to mock Gordon Strachan. -
Maybe slightly left of field, but I'd give it to Targett. He's come back into the team, in a new position, looked solid, assisted at least one goal, was unlucky not to score another and hasn't looked out of place at all. In fact at the moment, I'd be disappointed if he wasn't on the team sheet in that position.

Debut goals for Saints on debut appearance.

Who?

I feel a bit sad for Morgan; he always gave his best for us from the day he signed, he grew, got his international debut and then quite rightly got his bug club move. But he's so far, becoming yet another ex-Saint who has moved on and isn't doing well. I'm struggling to think of a Saint who has moved on and excelled, except for Bale?

Hope so, I've got a bet on at 2-0 with Mane to score first ... -
Bypass the midfield, straight up there, bang!

Signed 2014-15 Shirt for Mary's Meals
Patrick Bateman replied to aussiesaint20's topic in The Saints
Good thread, simply because I had no idea what Mary's Meals was - just thought it was some lame sponsorship on the jackets, I can't be alone in that either? -
Agree! I was only moaning about goalies and the amount of near post schoolboy errors last week.

Classic, for years to come, like the bellends in that picture giving their season tickets back
-
Bellends like Crook show exactly why blogs (like Redslo's) do so well; they are more informative, based on genuine fact and written by fans.
-
Exactly right; absolute bellend.
-
Christ that's harsh. Dryden, Dia, Lee Todd, Augustin "the tin man" Delgado, Andrei Kanchelskis (did you not see his 'performance' vs Everton?), Caulker; I really don't have to think too hard to think of dross worse than Brett Ormerod.

So Steven Davis is the modern equivalent of Oakley, yes?

The Oscars and similar awards are all a complete load of sycophantic sh*t anyway, who actually cares about them? Any film that's "nominated" is usually boring drivel anyway. I'm told it's some TV awards soon, maybe tonight? Absolute chav fest with drivel TV programs.
