  1. Stoke, Everton, Pool, Watford, Liverpool down to 12th have games in hand on us and are all within 2 pts. Can't see our top half stay being long lived.
  2. That was a complete and utter shambolic mess. No more needs to be said.
  3. I wonder if there will be a minutes silence on Wednesday night now?
  4. To be fair, it was a really good save. But he still hasn't achieved anything in a Liverpool shirt. Time is running out.
  5. Take into consideration that he's being coached by Wenger though. He needs to move for the sake of his career, Wenger is ruining him.
  6. Always_SFC really doesn't help himself sometimes.
  7. If Arsenal don't win the league this year, then Wenger should just fall on his sword. No excuses what so ever, as always when the pressure is on they crumble. They're a team full of mentality fragile foreigners.
  8. Bertrand is probably the best fit for that position - without question. But we don't have a third centre half who is reliable enough to play every week.
  9. I would agree with that, if you have a little bit of nous about you, you play on that....but we let him affect us too much.
  10. Chelsea played well, great movement between their front players, it was very hard for us to contain them for 90 mins - which is why it was frustrating that the first goal was so weak. But we did play well for the majority of that game I felt, very organised and disciplined in our play and kept them at arm's length - although they did start to raise the bar after 60mins or so. We lacked a real threat once Long went off. I personally would have put Mane on instead, as having that pace in behind stretches teams and can make so much difference. So that was a bit frustrating, as that substitution did really play into Chelsea's hands. But lots of positives. Loved Romeu's performance, although the midfield did tire as the game went on I felt. Onto the ''Derby''...
  11. Why is he talking about his own club in that way?
  12. They really don't rate morgan. I'll have him back, please. This guy doesn't deserve his own thread. Should be closed and he can feck off. I said he was ****e from day one and he's just getting worse. An absolute waste of £25m. Makes me sick when I think of the players van Gaal turfed out for the likes of Schneiderlin, Darmian and Depay. His season has been worse than Fellaini's debut season He's not good enough to play for the club, he has been a passenger in pretty every single game he's played in. He was giving it the big I am and wanting to leave Southampton to move to a bigger club and now he has he looks overwhelmed and completely out of place. His ability on the ball has pretty much died. Thats not LVG's doing, thats just him being crap. I hope he can still come good though
  13. What a mess of a team Villa are. Hopeless at playing football. They should just give up.
  14. To be fair, given his knack of being involved in relegated teams, I'm happy he's gone. Plus the fact that he was ****ing ****!
  15. I'm still confused by Newcastle's business to be honest. Lots of money spent on attacking midfielders and strikers, yet probably the weakest part of their team for the last 2 years has been the back 4 - yet it's still the same. It's horrendous and that is the reason they will be battling until the end, no matter how many good attacking players they have. I think they've spent around £100m this season, and they've only added Muevmba at the back - and even he's a bit off the pace.
  16. We love our 1-0's at Swansea. We've totally turned our season around, no one at the club panicked and we're not reaping the rewards of that. I really like Romeu to be honest, I think he's a damn fine player. Clasie is growing into a key component of our setup and Virgil is class. Still plenty to look forward to.
  17. I'd have him back, Wenger's management of him has been a disgrace. He'd be so better under a manager such as Poch for e.g
  18. If FCM are as nigglly and time-wasting as they were against us, then it won't be straight forward. Although they have lost their top CB to celtic..
  19. upwards of £70 i think, I'm sure I saw £78 quid somewhere. Crazy really.
  20. What the hell? Not sure if this is a serious post or not?
  21. Have you seen what they're being charged though????
  22. Everton winning 2-0 v Newcastle. They've really got to start picking up points soon.......but I still think their back 4 is absolute ****, yet all they did was buy offensive players. Seems as if they're taking a score more than you approach. But they can't score either. Up **** creek.
  23. Spurs do look excellent, they're nailed for a top 4 in my opinion - but they will mount a challenge for sure. I like their spine and how they play, i say it with gritted teeth though!
  24. You're so eloquent with the way you put your views forward and dismiss others. I think you're always going to be on the ropes at times at Arsenal, but keeping a compact shape for a good % of the game does help. I felt we were well organised and disciplined in our positional play. we were caught out once or twice, and luckily we had Fraser between the sticks - but I think our general display was deserving of a point.
  25. I think he's seen as having a future, but he does need to start making a name for himself. Is this possibly his first loan? But I think he's a typical fox in the box type of finisher, seems to be in the right place, right time. Hopefully he can rack up the goals and get the same level of accolades which McCarthy is getting.
