Kingsland Red Posted 11 November, 2009 Share Posted 11 November, 2009 Never thought I'd get excited about the JPT but find myself checking out the other 3 Southern Area teams: Hereford, Norwich or MK Dons. Any of the above at home will do!
S-Clarke Posted 11 November, 2009 Share Posted 11 November, 2009 agreed, just a home tie for me. Away to Norwich would be a sickener at this stage - need them in the area final IMO, so we have 2 legs to go at them.
Badger Posted 11 November, 2009 Share Posted 11 November, 2009 Hereford away would be more convenient for me

Matthew Le God Posted 11 November, 2009 Share Posted 11 November, 2009 Norwich please. Would rather get them out of the way than them break our Wembley hearts. It is impossible for us to play Norwich at Wembley in this! The competition is spilt into north and south. We can only play Norwich in the 2 legged southern area final (home and away). The final at Wembley is between the winners of southern and the winners of the northern section. I want... WATERSIDEIFASAINT Posted 12 November, 2009 Share Posted 12 November, 2009 Norwich at home so we can knock them out as I'd fancy our chances more against MK Dons in a 2 leg Southern final.I think we can beat anyone at home but both Norwich or MK Dons away in the next round would be tough. hutch Posted 12 November, 2009 Share Posted 12 November, 2009 We could play all 3, and still win! But we'd have to go back to 4-5-1 against the 12-12-
saints_is_the_south Posted 12 November, 2009 Share Posted 12 November, 2009 Hereford at home please. Not fussed who in the Area final after that, we can beat MK Dons or Norwich over 2 legs.
Sold To The Man @ The Bar Posted 12 November, 2009 Share Posted 12 November, 2009 To get to the final we need to beat 2 out of the 3 teams left. Hereford, Norwich or MK Dons, so what order do we want them ? MK Dons home in the next round then Norwich over two legs to get to the final. Pugwash Posted 12 November, 2009 Share Posted 12 November, 2009 Norwich are probably the strongest team of the three, so would prefer to get them at home first; then there's a better chance of beating either of the other two over two legs. macthesaint Posted 12 November, 2009 Share Posted 12 November, 2009 Apart from Huddersfield, the Northern group looked easy for Leeds. Southern contains all the stronger teams,a bit like the T20 cricket group Hampshire always get stuck in. Hereford is my choice for the next round. Andy_Porter Posted 12 November, 2009 Share Posted 12 November, 2009 Doubt i'd bother going to MK Dons or Norwich away so that leaves Hereford away or anyone at home. Ideally we'd get Norwich or Dons at home and then Hereford in the Area final.
Nexstar Posted 12 November, 2009 Share Posted 12 November, 2009 Anyone at home, or Hereford away. Next saturday will be a test of strength, and is likely to be a tie we get either in the JPT area semis or final.
