''Storrie also revealed that he discussed the possibility of walking away from football with his wife on Sunday''

tbf, what does he expect? it's not like he was physically attacked or anything.

..and how many times is this div going to discuss the possibility of quitting?

Just do it already..!

"Storrie also revealed that he discussed the possibility of walking away from football with his wife on Sunday, but insisted that that he cannot abandon Portsmouth while he is so close to preventing the club from going under."

Translates as "I earnt over £2 million from this job last year. Where else would I get that sort of money? I'm not going anywhere till they prise my hands off the cash"

Purely in my opinion of course!

How many times now has he considered walking away!!!! I am beginning to dislike Storrie with a passion. He is a complete phoney.

That said, "over enthusiastic" Saints fans might have gone a little to far if his wife felt intimidated. That is unacceptable and there should be no place for it in Southampton.

Yes there is.

He is a c*nt of the highest order and I am glad he felt intimidated when he came to St Marys. Infact the only bad point is that someone didn't give him a slap whilst they were there.

That is plain stupid. We go around attacking people in his position and the club can be punished.

His money making machine is broke and about to collapse in a heap along with a lot more of the blue stuff.

I totally disassociate myself from a post like that

Hopefully most Saints are more civilised than this poster.

Look at it from a different point.

He's surely doing us a favour if he drags them down?

If his connivance does that then he'll be a hero in a lot of Saints fan's books!

It was wrong to do it with his wife there. Again, from a different point, if you were out with a lady friend and got a slap from a Pompey fan, imagine how frightening that would have been from her point of view.

This is mind games from Story, he knows some will be taking in by it saying "fair play to Pete, he could of walked away but he chose to fight with us" How difficult can it be to get up and go to work when earning 1.25mil a year ??

I didn't witness what happened outside our ground with him and his party but would suggest it will be embellished somewhat coming from the source.

Here talks a man that has just been in court on charges of tax evasion...................

I bet he didn't think of all the UK taxpayers he was hurting when he set up his dodgy deal, now he complains of harassment!

He may be found not guilty, but there's something rotten at the heart of Portsmouth FC and once again the fans will suffer the consequences.

He was probably more pizzed off that they were only waved at him and not thrown at him so he could have trousered them !

He really is a slimy git - fundamentally a blagger and dis-ingenuous too.

Ok we had the likes of Rupert, Penny for the Guy and Scouse Mike to contend withbut they were not in the same class of slime as this turd.

I take this report with a pinch of salt because I know that Storrie promoted a slightly different version of events immediately afterwards.

It was initially suggested that he was unfairly abused by fans from possibly two of Hampshire's teams.

After a day to reflect he has chosen to promote this new edited version of events.

Tie that in with the News coverage of the nasty home fans attacking the angelic away fans and you have the blue-tinted version of the day.

Don't believe the hype.

Funny isnt it that the only Sheik Storrie saw with any money was at St Marys.

Wouldn't it be wonderful if their next owner was the Milk Sheik?

Well, it's more plausible than any of the phone call and email guff Storrie's been on about.

No problem Peter. So have you passed the company bank details on when replying to the email as requested?? ;-)

"Portsmouth chief executive Peter Storrie and his wife were attacked"

No they were not. They had bank notes waved in their faces. They were not "attacked". They obviously left just after the final whistle. Not very sensible in itself.

Brilliant! absolutely hilarious! and if you look in the background you can even see Trevor Brooking laughing. No-one outside of Pikey Island likes Pompey.

I completely sympathise with Peter Storrie in all this. It was just far too "in your face". Clearly the money should have been put in an envelope marked "image rights" and sent via an account in Monaco set up in the name of "W. McKay (Mr.)"

Maybe we should have shaken his hand?

We'd have to count our fingers afterwards though...

I must have missed something.

How were you associated with that post?

Very much doubt this really happened. Another example of Storrie being (cough) economical with the truth. He was probably talking about the Fake Sheik with the money walking up the steps in front of the Directors box (you know the one that according to some reports invaded the pitch)! LMFAO.

Edit: As per MisterNeil's post above!

A couple of quotes from that page in the OP link:

''"You get abuse at football, you have to accept it sometimes, even if it is not very nice, but this was intimidation, Storrie told Soccernet. "It was frightening, my wife was petrified, with people coming right into your face shoving notes into our face - no one should have to put up with that in this day and age."

''"It happened when we were walking the short distance to our car. There was a group of fans ramming money into our faces, and thankfully stewards appeared from nowhere, but my wife was pretty shook up as you can imagine.

"Abuse is one thing but this was intimidation. I have to say it was as serious as that, and we did think we would shortly be physically attacked if the stewards hasn't arrived so quickly.''

Then....

''The statement read: "There was an unfortunate incident at Southampton involving Peter Storrie, his wife and family, but stewards eventually were involved and got the situation under control. At this stage the club are not likely to make an official complaint." ''

Too shocking to contemplate, yet nothing will be done? Sounds like the Storrie-Telling **** is crying wolf.

Well thats funny, we saw the **** arrive and as bold as brass walk around from the car park and past the megastore and apart from a few shouting wheres your money etc we never saw anything happen. He had a smug look on his face from the off, he arrived before the turnstiles opened when there wasn't thousands of bods around, i think its his way of trying to get in with their fans who most hate the **** anyway, but slagging us off is nectar to them isn't it

Storrie would do well to remember our visit to Fratton in 2004. The following extract from Wikipedia may jog his memory:

"Ninety-three people were arrested for their involvement in riots involving over 300 people before and after a match with South coast rivals Southampton F.C. on 21 March 2004. The police were attacked, shops were looted, and cars were vandalised.Of those arrested, 64 were given banning orders, and some were gaoled. One of the arrests included a ten-year-old boy who became the youngest-ever convicted football hooligan in the United Kingdom, when he was found guilty of violent disorder. In August that year, 54 Portsmouth hooligans were banned for life by club chairman Milan Mandarić for their involvement in the riots at the Southampton game."

Total knob jockey and an insult to estate agents, because that all he f*** ing is...
