Block 5 Posted 2 July, 2010 Share Posted 2 July, 2010 Try watching The Great Escape, Chariots of Fire or Escape to Victory. That should help boost your morale. The Kraken Posted 2 July, 2010 Share Posted 2 July, 2010 why...why do we have to be spoon fed every few days with info..? Exactly. News for news sake. wightman35 Posted 2 July, 2010 Share Posted 2 July, 2010 After umpteeen years of bad news regarding Saints, until one year ago, it is hard to believe the old adage that " No news is Good News." Where is our new RB(or 2), Mid fielder, Back-up for RL? Indeed, as DLT says, "Where is AP?" I am still patient and hopeful, but getting very slightly stressed! Alas, not quite so conspiracy theory inducing...he was having a mooch around Borough Market, sharp suited, crisp white open necked shirt and a well tanned face. He then went into a bar/club/restaurant for what I assumed was an invite only screening of the England v Algeria game.

moon monkey Posted 3 July, 2010 Share Posted 3 July, 2010 BREAKING NEWS Alan Pardew has announced that porridge will be the 1st choice for matchday breakfasts. The players be given the option of honey or jam as an extra boost of carbohydrate. There is some news for the impatient C*nts. Or maybe Pardew is busy doing some work, getting players in and preparing for the season.

SNSUN Posted 3 July, 2010 Share Posted 3 July, 2010 For ten months of the year, AP is Southampton every single day. Let him rest! sadoldgit Posted 3 July, 2010 Share Posted 3 July, 2010 I have it on good authority that there is a sweepstake at SFC about how long it takes Alpine to have a seizure over lack of transfer activity. brmbrm Posted 3 July, 2010 Share Posted 3 July, 2010 FFS, some people really need to get some sort of life over the summer. The weather is great, ahven't you noticed? The world cup is on, haven't you noticed? Just get yourself a fuk cing life FFS! ust becaue pardew doesnt spend all day sitting in front of his laptop, wearing his string vest, drinking tins over chaep super-strength cider and posting non-news does not mean the worl has ended. it just means its the close season. Cal lback next month, eh?

Nothing from him on the Official Site in weeks and little mention of him in other articles. A few words from Alan telling us that he is looking forward to pre-season/the season would do wonders for morale.. Perhaps , he's been on holiday. After 9 months of concentrated football, he's surely taken some sort of break. And I'm sure that he hasn't totaly ignored the World Cup. Perhaps , he's going to bid for that young Muller lad from Germany...and the boy Messi had a terrible tournament ...maybe his career needs a kick-start in L1.? In truth DLT, I'm sure he hasn't forgotten his " duties" but neither he or NC strike me as the sort of people who advertise who they are bidding for, or looking at until the ink is dry on the contract. Any club who thinks that SFC are intersted in a player will quickly stick a £1million price tag on him. Be patient, I think that we may have 2 maybe 3 signings and at least ONE will be a real surprise to EVERYONE ..
