The broadcast section will be on Saints Player this evening, the BBC interview will be on the radio today/tomorrow morning, the OS will write it up, the BBC website will have a report and probably short video of it later and SSN will show clips of it all day.

Yes, but who is on transcript duties?

No, he is talking to BBC Radio Solent and the Premier League's media outlet first in one to one interviews.

Srrange idea.... What's the point of a private interview, when it is to the press? They might as well let us see/hear that too

They do the same for every press conference before a game during the season. The BBC Radio Solent interview is then put on Saints Player and interspersed with clips of training.

For example...

Man Utd pre game press conference...

So do they ask the same questions all over again in the broadcast bit?

Often they do yes, but Adam Blackmore who normally does the BBC Solent interview on Saints Player doesn't ask questions in the press conference. Watch the examples I gave in the previous post. Its always done like that for a Premier League game build up.

Says he is used to rebuilding a team every season in Holland. Hope he's not expecting to do it here next summer as well...

Who is this bint monopolising the interview ?

Typically, won't give anyone else a chance to speak.

That's how press conferences work, you pig. She'll ask her questions and then it's someone else's turn to ask a few.

Big words there at the end! Allez Morgan!

Dejan has got it coming by the sounds of it! Good.

Despite all the Barca/Suarez stuff I was very impressed by that interview. A great grasp of English and seemed very forthright in his comments. I got the feeling that not a lot will be off limits this season. Deflected a few things as you would imagine but on the whole - very impressed.

Officially welcome to Saints RK(oeman)

Crapola questions from the journos, really. Interesting to hear the bit at the end about Schneiderlin; hopefully RK can turn him around.

RK obviously got a way to go on the patter. All sounding a bit Goldmember atm. Even so, very refreshing to hear a Saints manager speaking English.
