East Kent Saint Posted May 27 Posted May 27 Taking a yellow didn't seem an option as Odegaard was already half way past him and Smallbone was too close and on his heels to make any kind of tackle.

CSA96 Posted Monday at 20:01 Posted Monday at 20:01 Gone to Millwall to get some minutes - contract expires in June 2026 so unlikely we'll see him again
Mattio Posted Monday at 20:02 Posted Monday at 20:02 He should shave his hair back off so he can fit in with the Millwall fans. 3
sfc4prem Posted Monday at 20:02 Posted Monday at 20:02 He'll end up remembered as a fairly decent Championship midfielder. 1
goodymatt Posted Monday at 20:29 Posted Monday at 20:29 Seems a bit wasteful to let him go on a free next summer.
austsaint Posted Monday at 20:45 Posted Monday at 20:45 Nice lad; very average player. Wish him well at the Den.
die Mannyschaft Posted Monday at 21:01 Posted Monday at 21:01 Done well for us and always had time for fans doing autographs etc. 2
Gloucester Saint Posted Monday at 21:45 Posted Monday at 21:45 (edited) If Neil can get him on the weights and bulking up a bit Millwall will have a footballer they will really enjoy. Great weight of pass, good touch, and can finish. The right manager to get Russball out of his head and make him more progressive again, take a few more risks. Too lightweight for Still’s preferred formation and hasn’t got the engine for the PL where Saints want to be back to but wouldn’t take that much to get him more robust so that he could at Champ level. Saint Keef Posted Monday at 23:14 Posted Monday at 23:14 Probably a good move for everyone at this stage and I wish him well. Will always remember his goal v WBA in the play-off semi final at St Mary's and his through ball for Armstrong's goal in the final. Two of my happiest days as a Saints fan, so if for nothing else, thanks for those Will. and best wishes. 14

chownie20 Posted Tuesday at 07:44 Posted Tuesday at 07:44 Hope we got a decent loan fee. £7m sale to Wrexham would have been better. 1
LiberalCommunist Posted Tuesday at 08:41 Posted Tuesday at 08:41 I reckon he will thrive there. I expect to see his name pop up on match reports on a constant basis. That is a clever bit of business for them. 2
