Dibbers is simply not worth the fee our board are holding him ransom for and we run the risk of losing him on the cheap next summer which is barking mad. We should have snatched Everton's hands at £35m with add ons and put a sell on clause in for good measure. That kind of cash could help us bring in 3 good signings to push us on this season. The squad needs bolstering yet some fans want us to hold onto a lad who didnt want to know 2nd half of last season when the going got tough. Even by Scouse standards, you're extremely weird.

They can probably give you some tips about freeing hostages. 3
Willo of Whiteley Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I think most on here would’ve taken £40M for Dibling. Unfortunately, Everton probably isn’t the step up he was hoping for, but equally it’s probably his level, and the chance for a quick pay day. No “top eight” club is forking out £40-50M on a young player who has yet to do anything significant in the Premier League. Only if you’re stupid enough are you going to bid that.
SaintsLoyal Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago West Ham are interested in Dibling at £25M and some add ons I suspect they might offer Prowse as well if they can pay his wages.

Chelsea spent more than that on Lavia after 26 starts for us.

Has Ward-Prowse ever indicated he’d want to return? Seems like a lot of wishful thinking.

All that matters is how much money a buying club offers. The highest bid. Who's bidding more than Everton? Not West Ham. Probably nobody else in the PL. He's not worth what you want him to be worth, he's only worth what someone will pay. He'll be worth less in the next window, and even less in the one after. That's the real world.
Wallington Saint Posted 37 minutes ago Posted 37 minutes ago He's going! Once I saw his new hair style it was a done deal! 1
